I believe that all music is tied together in one wave form or another. I consider myself a musician before an MC because I play six instruments and compose all my own music. Although I have been making music since I was 3 years old. Hip hop stood out of the crowd being born in 1974, I witnessed its development. Its easy to sound like everyone else and it is often a challenge to take the road seldom traveled by the multitude. Stay real, rooted and original. I also have perform with BOOMROOTS and earlier had a band RUBIXZU.

I wanted to set a certain mood across this mix and I wanted to Start it out with Two of my Favorites. That being J Dilla on the beat and Dwele on the vocals. It consists of many artists i love including Oddisee, Kev Brown, Phonte, Common, and others and a Vintage track towards the end produced by, the legendary, Rick James. Enjoy the mellow mood.
