i had the bright idea of making herb's hoo hoo into an utau, and the worst thing is that it doesn't sound bad. shout out to @user-874426890 btw, i stumbled upon their cover while looking for the sample so i might as well give them credit lmfao

ngl i rly like this vb, he has a nice tone and is easy to tune! but his range is shitty and he's very noisy so he's very hard to mix. once i find more songs that fit his range i'll use him more. sorry for no bg vocals i just didn't feel like mixing any more lmao

wanted to showcase lower and higher range, she sounds nice albeit noisy in her lower range but her higher range sounds more like her sample. tested her with a couple usts but she sounds a lil weird bc she's pure vowel. i'll see what i can do with her later

edit 2: i know a few people have asked about me distributing this voicebank, which i'm not super comfortable with bc i did this without the permission of the devteam. the bf voicebanks specifically are set up literally the exact same way as what i did (vowels only) so really you can just download theirs. bf even has appends! have fun


the vocals are completely isolated from the instrumentals in the files. bf and hatsune miku are canonically(??) siblings. it was truly a recipe for success

he makes a lot of weird sounds so i just decided to stick with vowels bc that's what most of it is anyways. i think he sounds really cute even if the lack of consonants makes notes sound weird sometimes (tho that might also be me not feeling like editing the ust much). also i hope this mixing sounds okay? i'm really bad at mixing electronic songs but i think my mixing in general is getting better
