Like a musical evolution, The Clearing Pt.2 grows, and writhes in front of you. The natural timbre of wood blocks coalesces nicely with the undulating water like synth, the wisp like melody sweeping through the trees surrounding. It’s an auditory awakening of the mind, and nature alike. Proving again and again that one can not live without the other in complete symbiosis.

2MR writes this, about the release: The Clearing, originally debuted in 2015 as part of the exhibition Flickers of Day and Night at Denmark’s ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum, consisted of larger-than-life spinning daisy sculptures surrounded by Djurberg’s signature claymation animations. Berg’s sound installation transforms from an ominous yet alluring pan flute composition into an otherworldly synth melody, underscored by a sticky echo tone and the occasional bird call. The effect is an almost unsettling invitation into the artists’ seemingly innocent forest, only to be plunged into the transgressive animations as the music transforms. 

The Clearing, and the rest of Hans Berg’ wonderfully nuanced Waypoints release will be out on the 16th of September.

Perpendicular is a self managed and private festival held somewhere in the woods of central Spain.

"The sound gushes out. It nourishes new life forms in a black ocean.
The pupils of time dilate, the horizon becomes the fifth line of a celestial score, the balance falls.
Space, overwhelmed by the speed of the sound waves, sinks into a black cube. And it escapes into another dimension, revolving around the orbit of a new planet, the one of hearing.
Esadimensional is an extension, hypnotised by the control of time, towards the sixth dimension, where sound and organic particles come together, trascending the nature of cosmos".

Anekoic Records is pleased to present the second chapter of "Esadimensional", the various of a long series, where inspiration and sonic freedom meet, breaking the boundaries of musical genre.

I shouldn't feel special.
But...after so much walking in the shadowlands, it is healthy judgment to recognize that my journeys are no longer the same. That I am going deeper and deeper.

Today I decide that nothing disturbs me, nothing takes me out of my centre.

That's why I feel it coming, here it comes, it's exploding and even though I'm an experienced traveller, I'll surely end up getting it all out without the fear of the shadows that usually laugh around.

Here it comes... it's flowing, it connects me.

That's the fear, the greatest of the Beasts of my nights.

To flow so much and no longer return

I'm feeling it, and I don't intend to relieve it, I don't expect to fail in my task of keeping it Beautiful feeling, it stays with me, it won't go away.

I should never have trusted myself, I told myself so many lies, that now I'm on the edge of the abyss - What are you doing here, they ask me - You again?

Medicine my silence, it intensifies the illusion, but in silence I intend to continue, from here on...
