Danish artist and Silk Music co-owner Gorm Sorensen is back with a new original chillout song, "Opening Leaves." On remix detail are Stray Theories and Orion & J.Shore, both of whom are equally well-known names to Silk's chillout fans.

The Original Mix takes off with blissful piano notes and mesmerizing string layers in the background. Intriguing bell sounds and captivating horn melodies emerge, and numerous pads are layered up as the song progresses. Stunning harmonies in spell-binding structures are at play later in the song.

New Zealand-based virtuoso Stray Theories provides the first remix of "Opening Leaves." An otherworldly atmosphere is quickly established, featuring lush guitar riffs, subtle percussion elements, and mellifluous pad layers. Altogether, this remix is a stunning and highly memorable interpretation.

Finnish brothers Orion & J.Shore return to Silk Music with their classical take on "Opening Leaves." The remix features a wealth of astonishing instruments and melodies -- for example, the frisky flutes array, guitar riffs, and multiple piano layers all make this a unique listening experience.

State Azure - Patterns In The Dust

Producer of electronic, ambient and experimental music from the south coast of England.

Bio:

Immersed in the synth-pop and electronica of the Eighties growing up in southern England, State Azure (b. 1972) found early inspiration in Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, and Vangelis. Deconstructing their tracks ignited his passion, leading him to develop a foundational understanding of electronic music theory, composition and production entirely by ear and experimentation.

He honed his skills as a keyboardist and producer within live bands before venturing into solo ambient/experimental territory. This self-taught journey fostered a deeply improvisational and emotional approach, free from the confines of formal training.

State Azure's sonic world is further shaped by influences beyond music, drawing heavily from science fiction, cosmology, physics, and technology.

Seizing the opportunity presented by the burgeoning online music scene, he launched the State Azure project to connect directly with listeners, debuting with the album 'Outlines' in December 2011.
