My second outing to the supersonic realm of Tribalsphere Outdoors. The day after an amazing sunset and moon polarity beneath the shadows of the Black Mountains in Wales,  this mix was played out in the chill-out tent. Russian label veteran Stendahl is back with a brand new EP, "Dystopia," featuring three captivating downtempo cuts.

The title cut, "Dystopia," is introduced by a haunting atmosphere, with subtle piano strokes and captivating sound effects. Soon thereafter, numerous percussion elements emerge, as well as hypnotizing vocal stems that truly add great texture to the song.

In "Sunrise," stunning piano melodies introduce the track, as well as lush strings in the background. As the song evolves, we witness dazzling vocal elements and intriguing percussion layers that blend perfectly with the strong piano theme.

As with the two other tracks on "Dystopia," "The Sea Of Rains" features an enjoyable piano line, hypnotizing vocal elements, and lush background effects. Furthermore, this track includes a frisky breakbeat to spice up things a little further.

Bio:

Immersed in the synth-pop and electronica of the Eighties growing up in southern England, State Azure (b. 1972) found early inspiration in Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, and Vangelis. Deconstructing their tracks ignited his passion, leading him to develop a foundational understanding of electronic music theory, composition and production entirely by ear and experimentation.

He honed his skills as a keyboardist and producer within live bands before venturing into solo ambient/experimental territory. This self-taught journey fostered a deeply improvisational and emotional approach, free from the confines of formal training.

State Azure's sonic world is further shaped by influences beyond music, drawing heavily from science fiction, cosmology, physics, and technology.

Seizing the opportunity presented by the burgeoning online music scene, he launched the State Azure project to connect directly with listeners, debuting with the album 'Outlines' in December 2011.
