Is this what it had to come for? Is this the finish line? Could someone tell us? That would be nice.
We're here. Why are we here? No one expected this. Is this some kind of freak accident, really?
Could we... Could we just go back, maybe? Try again? Try a different route?
I don't like it here. Are we supposed to like it here?
I start to think it was a mistake. A major one.
Huh, so much for the promised land, innit?
Seriously, could someone let us go? I don't like it here. Hello?!
We were told that emptiness was desirable. We were told that letting go is beneficial. So how about that?
How can you arrive somewhere if you lose yourself on the way? It's not YOU then, innit?
It's not... It's not ME here.
What is this place anyways? I don't like it here. I want to go back. I don't like it here.

Maybe, just maybe... If we spend some time here, it will be different.

We're just so used to travelling, being on our way! Arriving is weird. We have to stop, stop looking, stop advancing.

Producer of electronic, ambient and experimental music from the south coast of England.

Bio:

Immersed in the synth-pop and electronica of the Eighties growing up in southern England, State Azure (b. 1972) found early inspiration in Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, and Vangelis. Deconstructing their tracks ignited his passion, leading him to develop a foundational understanding of electronic music theory, composition and production entirely by ear and experimentation.

He honed his skills as a keyboardist and producer within live bands before venturing into solo ambient/experimental territory. This self-taught journey fostered a deeply improvisational and emotional approach, free from the confines of formal training.

State Azure's sonic world is further shaped by influences beyond music, drawing heavily from science fiction, cosmology, physics, and technology.

Seizing the opportunity presented by the burgeoning online music scene, he launched the State Azure project to connect directly with listeners, debuting with the album 'Outlines' in December 2011.
