In 2000 Ed propelled from underground garage producer to near enough a household name with the massive remix of Gorillas Clint Eastwood . It was a chance encounter with Damon Albarn,which changed Ed's life .Damon suggested that Ed take a listen to the gorillas first album which had just been completed in Jamaica. . Asked if he could do a remix of one of the tracks .Ed made his choice and within 3 days were performing to a large crowd at the Notting Hill Carnival. That performance transformed in to an anthem , staying in the top ten for eleven weeks.Following this success Ed went on to produce and remix some of the biggest artists of the time .

In 2001 he was signed to Sony to produce his own album Eds Guest list. The album was a collaboration of different artists from different musical genres . Having established himself as a professional producer and remixer ed does remixes for the likes of Destinys Child Bootalicious Misteeq and Mj Cole to name a few ,He is extremely well respected in the industry as being hard working and a real musician. Ed has been described by NME as UK Garage Legend , global dance innovator ,genuine genius Ed proper Case.
In 2008 Kt Tunstall released as her first single Hold On which ed co Wrote.Website and tv music has also played a big part in Ed's busy schedule.

State Unknown is a deep house brand which produces their own unique quality and innovative sounds.State Unknown the sounds of now! Budding London based Dan James found his passion for music as a young boy having been brought up listening to his Dad’s acid house vinyl. He would regularly spend hours immersed in the sounds of Summer of Love classics and iconic DJ’s including Frankie Knuckles, Marshall Jefferson and Jumping Jack Frost. His interest in music grew rapidly and during his teenage years Dan spent much of his time tirelessly searching through the racks of his local record shop looking for a new tune to spend his weekly pocket money on. He used friend’s parties to perfect his mixing skills and try out his newly purchased records. In the time that followed he experimented with different genres of dance music including Old School House 88-94, Drum and Bass, Garage, Breakbeat and Jungle before finding an interest in Deep and Tech House sounds. His interests in a range of music across the house spectrum and his acid house roots have heavily influenced his style and sound.  
In 2010 Dan landed his first warm-up set at HeadFunk Promotions and after being a popular hit amongst the party goers he quickly became their resident DJ. In the few short years that followed Danny D wasted no time pursuing his passion and can now be found behind the DJ box most weekends bringing you all things house including Deep, Tech and Old School. He has played at some of London’s top clubs including Egg, Lightbox, Warehouse, and the iconic Pacha. His energy and positively uplifting sets have also secured him several other residencies at Labrynth, Pirate Club and House is a Feeling. He has also enjoyed sets at festivals across the country, most notably Strawberry Fields Festival where he took the stage in front of 10,000 festival goers.

Midnight express records , is a project founded  by the Portuguese international  dj and music producer Miguel Amaral that is one of the icons  of the dance music in Portugal with regular presence in major events in Portugal and other countries too such as Sensation White and many  others more club and events worldwide such as in Barcelona, Marbella, Seville, Madrid, Moscow, Samara….. Nominated by the Portuguese press as best house music producer  in 2009, with some of his tracks archiving top 100 in Beatport and other digital stores.
Midnight express records is a record label based in Portugal and work’s mainly with  underground dance music, From Deep house, Nu disco to tech house, Minimal and techno and with many international djs that his owner Miguel Amaral had the previlege of working along his years in the dance scene.
Midnight express records plans to give a little bit of fresh air into the non mainstream dance scene step by step......
