I Want This

My pseudo-modern take on an old school electronic influence in the vein of model 500 or Cybortron and the Detroit techno scene of the late 80's/early 90's.  Intended as an ode to my Detroit roots and Juan Atkins.

Static of Masses combines elements of dark ambient, industrial and other forms of experimental music to create a dark, apocalyptic abyss.
Greg Watkins and Mark Brown began sonic collaborations over 10 years ago in Odessa Texas. Occasional Live performances in the local area over the years evolved into fully stepping into the Texas underground experimental industrial scene with performances around the state in 2015 and 2016, Including, Deep Ellum Industrial Fest, Dallas Ambient Music Nights, and sharing the stage with electro-Industrial veterans Hocico for three Texas dates in 2016. Static of Masses self released an EP titled “Are you Still Asleep” in the summer of 2015 and followed up with the first full length album “Enigma” in June of 2016. Both are available on bandcamp.com. 
Static of Masses has continued performing in 2017 and 2018 including an appearance at the Notable Convergence festival #23. A new album entitled “Apocalyptic Metaphors” was released in May of 2017 and is available on bandcamp.com. Also in 2018, both albums became available in the Old Europa Cafe distro shop.During the summer of 2019, Static of Masses contributed a remix of Hocico’s track “Artificial Extinction” for the remix album “Rextinction”. October 31st, 2019 saw the official release of our latest album “Exorcizando Eiciunt Daemonia” on Doomsday’s Today Records, available on bandcamp.com and through various distributors. As always, we continue to enhance our live show and seek new opportunities to perform.
