“Very excited to share this recording with the world. When planning this set the idea for me was to focus on archival dubs from the early years of Dubstep/pre-Dubstep (2001-2006) that have yet still to see a release. These are many of the same tunes you could’ve likely heard at a FWD night in these years. In keeping with the progressive spirit of FWD though, I didn’t want it to be solely retrospective — so along with the classic archival tunes I mixed in contemporary productions from myself and a few other newer artists — tracing some of the threads linking past, present, and future. Incredible levels of energy and emotion from live act Le Boom, bringing their trance stylings of the Irish language to The Mixmag Lab at Ireland's All Together Now Festival.

The Mixmag x Radio Alhara stage at All Together Now was set alongside The Great Oven's Disco Cantina, a charity that puts giant ovens in conflict zones and places of need to feed and develop community.
