Static & Strange celebrates their label launch on March 24th 2022, focusing on non-linear explorations in bass music across a wide variety of soundscapes.

Founded by Unchained co-founder and label manager Lyndon Jarr and Mike Airstrike, a long-time producer and Unchained team member, Static & Strange serves as an alternate platform for both their own output as well as that of friends and like-minded artists.

Jonnay is a one-man, live PA and has been writing music since ‘96, and performing since ‘97. His performance stylings range from Acid Techno to Drum and Bass and even Dark Jungle, but in the studio he will just write music he likes. 
Jonnay is willing to work closely with DJ's to provide special one-off tracks/mixes to fit in with your sets.For example, if you like the build up of a certain section of a song, but want it to continue for longer, or want the song at a different tempo, he is more then willing to accommodate.Just send him a message with your request.  Some requests like "make it a Dubstep track" obviously may not be so easily accommodated!

Leniz, (Querijn van Bijsterveldt) born in 2002, is a rising star in the world of Liquid Drum & Bass. He began writing his own compositions at just 12 years old, laying the foundation for what would become a promising career in the electronic music scene, which truly kicked off when he adopted the stage name Leniz at the age of 15 in 2017. As a producer, Leniz is genuinely soul-driven, with every track he creates coming straight from his heart. This dedication to authenticity, combined with his commitment to following his unique path, gives Leniz his distinctive sound and vibe. His sound is best described as melancholic and soundscape-driven, with a touch of old-school rawness. He draws inspiration from deep dives into the back catalogues of diverse genres such as drum & bass, house, techno, future jazz, and more.

In his 8+ years in the DnB scene, Leniz has garnered support from prominent figures such as LTJ Bukem, Technimatic, and High Contrast. His exceptional drum 'n' bass productions have earned recognition from renowned labels including Liquicity, Goldfat, Galacy, and Fokuz. Leniz has performed at numerous shows across the Netherlands and internationally in cities like London, Prague, Antwerp, Heidelberg, and more.

Currently, Leniz is working on new projects that promise to further showcase his versatility and talent. As he continues to explore new sounds and collaborations, his future in the music scene looks incredibly bright.

You might think that Not Steve is actually Steve, but you would be wrong. This question is answered in the name. Best known for fighting off polar bears with his hands while simultaneously mixing on three decks, Not Steve isn't afraid to do things differently while rocking a crowd. He also isn't afraid of Chuck Norris. Trained by monks in the mountains of Tibet, Not Steve learned the ancient lost art known as "beat matching". Not content to merely twist knobs when he plays, Not Steve takes it to the next level with semi-rythmic fader sliding. Not Steve has shared the stage with legends such as Paul Oakenfold's 4th cousin Raul Oakenfold, miscellaneous circus freaks, a goldfish, and your mom. Not Steve also excels at talking about himself in the third person.
