Emotional literacy is a heavy leaning track about the silent crisis unfolding in the aftermath of COVID. 

The loss of emotional literacy.

It digs into how people can now list symptoms but can’t articulate feelings, how kids are fluent in diagnostic labels but starved of inner language, and how families choke on what they’re too scared to say. 

The song exposes the long-term fallout: rising anxiety, self-harm, suicide risk, loneliness that hides in plain sight, and a country breaking quietly because no one knows how to put their inner storm into words anymore. 

It’s a warning and a plea, if we don’t bring emotional language back, we’ll keep producing people who can survive the world, but can’t survive themselves.
