Static Movement is coming out with his 3rd studio album 'Sian'. That is also the name of his son. This album is dedicated to him as the previous album 'Sol' that was also for his daughter. The meaning of 'Sian' is 'God's Gracious Gift' in welsh. The welsh language is spoken in Scotland so he made a special track with the scottish melody called Sian. This album's concept is from a melodic love track within powerful beats, spiced with lots of music parts of our world. Since his early childhood Shahar was exposed to classical music played by his mother in the living room and got to the conclusion that real music stays forever and turns into something classic. There's always that style that goes in fashion through time, other styles have only one moment of success until it fades, after that only true music remains, so with true belief in his path Shahar decided to follow his heart and make a real music, without putting a label on which genre it is - Progressive or Psytrance. Music straight from the Static heart! 

In the past 20 years of producing, Static Movement added lots of music leads to his signature of his unique sound, not like anyone else's, with the ability to touch every listener, with lots of fluid emotions on his tracks that'll make you delighted and happy or even make you sad until you cry. Every track in the album has its own magic and a story behind, that will take us to a wonderful journey from edge to edge and will make us hear it over and over again. This much awaited album arrives on the 7th of November, and awaits for your ears and heart.

Static Movement has had music running through his veins since he was born in Ukraine 1984 as Shahar Shtrikman. Inspired by his talented Mother’s piano playing, Shahar too was playing this classic instrument at the tender age of six.  In 1990 he moved to Tel Aviv, Israel with his family. A few years later in 1996 some friends introduced him to Trance music, and it wasn’t long until Shahar was using the program  ‘Impulse Tracker’ to produce his own music under his first act name ‘Impulser’.

Wanting to further improve his skills, Shahar later studied sound engineering, whilst simultaneously gaining lots of hands on experience working for Oz Studios; recording Rock & Metal music via a combination of analog and digital equipment. 

By 2011 his act ‘Static Movement’ was born. It was through beautiful melodies, captivating story telling, and high sound quality production skills that Static Movement became hugely successful. Shahar was able to express his intense deep feelings into the music and create his magical signature sound; that resonated with so many. The release of 6 albums (‘Circle of ‘Life, ‘Sol’, ‘Sian’, ‘Simin’, ‘Voices from Heaven’ and ‘Underwater’), more than 100 tracks on major labels including: Iono Music, Iboga Records, Spintwist Records, Blue Tunes Records and his own label Sol Records, collaboration singles with legends of the scene like Ranji, Sesto Sesto, Cosmic Tone and Gaudium; as well as remixing for high calibre artists; Morten Granau, Liquid Soul, Protonica  and Vini Vici; has solidified Static Movement as a stable headlining act in the scene; playing gigs all over the world.

In 2019 he embarked on a new and independent path to build artists and release music for them as well as his own music - and for this reason his label Sol Records was created. The first release on the label was with the album Simin, named after Shahar’s wife.  This epic label releases music showcasing the entire spectrum of psy-trance and techno; from 125-150bpm, and has released close to 400 tracks to date; and proved to be an amazing platform promoting artists from across the Globe. 

In 2020 Shahar also opened an artist agency called Beta Music. Building on the trust created with numerous artists and event producers over the years around the world - Shahar has successfully created a large network of booking agencies, label managers, event producers, artists and DJs who cooperate with each other in harmony and friendship  - with music being the catalyst that unites them all.

And in 2023 Shahar and his wife began a production called Children of the Sun. The  name came from the idea that Shahar’s music illuminates and also the fact that all of Shahar’s family have names that begin with the letter S in English. His wife Simin, eldest daughter Sol, son Sian, and youngest daughter Sun. Shahar has made an album for each of them, and really feels that ‘we are all children of the Sun’.  They have done over 10 events in Israel, and hosted the best leading artists in the world such as Ranji, Whitenoize, Berg, Reality Test, Z-cat, along with other artists from the label and agency. The production was established out of the need and desire to give a stage to budding artists; to help promote them and their music and give them a rare and real opportunity to showcase their talent! 

The fact that along with nurturing his own career, Shahar has created these additional platforms to help others - is a testament to the unwavering passion, pure dedication and raw love that Shahar aka Static Movement has for music!
