Stay Cool returns with a brand new Summer advent calendar for charity, dropping a new track from some of the best talent around the globe every day in June 2021. All proceeds raised for this Bandcamp release will go towards Médecins Sans Frontières aka Doctors Without Borders to support their projects in conflict zones and against endemic diseases.

After 2018's three-part debut compilation Altogether and 2019's Transitions a charity project was the next logical step and so we're proud to finally be releasing this. With lockdown slowly ending in parts of the world but remaining in place elsewhere due to the disparity in vaccines available the compilation aims to give back to the world that has given us so much while once again spotlighting amazing talent around it in unison.

At 30 tracks (with two bonus instrumentals), Stay Home features lo-fi hip hop, dark R&B, house, baile trap and UKG from the likes of Mecca:83, Vhsceral, Ella Mae and opens with "Mad World", an emotive intro from MI.HARU and GREGarious that explores the complexities of the world we live in as we simultaneously hold pain, beauty, and serenity within ourselves. Poignant given the challenging cirumstances this pandemic has put each of us in.

Stay Home Charity Compilation (out June 30th)

Ive had a bunch of Hip-Hop beats in the vault but this time I wanted to shed a bit on more of my "R&B/Soul" selections. The past couple of years i have been a bit more influenced by R&B and Non-Hip Hop Genres when it came down to my creation process. Anywho this is number 7 and I hope ya'll can enjoy it just as much as I have enjoyed in creating it!

Intuition

Rain Cloud, is the first song in a series of tracks that will focus on a fictional tale dealing with real life issues, tragedies, and triumphs. The root for this story lies between true events and some imagination, but I believe we can all relate to the hardship the characters face in the opening act. One, where life decisions don't always lead to a binary choice or where our emotions and sanity aren't always fully in control. This is us trying to see things from other's eyes and hoping to use art to evoke response and discussion.

Back in 2019, Vinyl Williams and I had a productive studio session together in LA and he ended up showing me some tracks off of what would soon be his latest album, "Azure". I was blown away and we started talking about the possibility of me remixing some of the new tracks. After he sent me the album and I could hear it in full, I chose the title track “Azure” to remix. I ended up speeding it up a bunch to fit my tempo *hence why he sounds like a chipmunk* but I think it adds to the psychedelic factor of the track ;) .... anyway please enjoy!
