With a sound rooted in the melodic grit of his hometown of Detroit, and making his own stamps on regional classics like Black Milk’s Popular Demand and Slum Village’s Dirty District Vol. 1 & 2, Nametag has earned the respect of indie rap heavyweights and placements in and on ESPN's First Take, XXL, Metro Times, Detroit Free Press, and more.

BLKLTE Sessions started as a group of artists meeting online just to see what might come of it. What was supposed to be casual turned into something alive, with five voices blending in ways none of them expected.

Each person brings their own flavor. Darkis is the R&B Syren with a voice that pulls you under. Korey Gastón is the theatre kid who can’t help but bring drama and story into every track. Shelbi leans into pop and rock, giving the songs grit and shine. NyxN moves between pop and rap, throwing in clever lines and rhythms that stick. Remy Vincent ties it together with reggae and R&B, keeping everything warm and grounded.

BLKLTE Sessions isn’t about chasing a perfect sound. It’s about the mess, the sparks, the late-night “what if we try this” energy. It’s music that feels like friends figuring it out in real time.

Djeli  (Jaye - Lee) is a captivating Music Performer with high energy and a  VARIETY of Performing Abilities spanning across various genres, such as  Soca (Caribbean), Dancehall (Caribbean), AfroBeat, Japanese Rap/R&B,  and Trap Music. Wanting to be a singer as a Child, he looked up to  Artist's like Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, and Usher, to name a few. He  eventually found his way into Rapping, as Hussle Man J. LiNQ.  Throughout his pursuit of a Rap career, his family began working on a  Family Tree. Once he found out that he had Caribbean Heritage, he began  to immerse himself into Caribbean Culture. Now, his plan and desire is  to bring a little known genre of Caribbean Music called Soca to the  Universe through his own unique way, as Djeli Tigre. Opening up for powerhouse talents like Lucky Daye, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Estelle, Bj The Chicago Kid, and Lupe Fiasco has made her the new kid on the block to watch.  

Ty Alexander is an open format dj from Baltimore, MD who believes that music is the one language we all can speak simultaneously, eloquently, loudly, and passionately. Ty has developed deep relationships and spun for brands like Amazon Music, Patron, Maker's Mark, Ava DuVernay's ARRAY  NOW, Aunt Jackie's Curls & Coils, Palmer's, US Open, JD Sports, and Cadillac. 

When you get to experience her spin in-person, you immediately understand and feel the passion, the love and the respect she has for music and the art of curating a vibe (some folks call it deejaying). She’s an old soul moving the music with her hands and always focusing on the feeling of the music while helping you create a perfectly aligned message at your event.

"LABL" (Lead And Be Legendary) is an independent music brand based out of Detroit, MI. LABL covers a diversity of genres from mainly Hip Hop, Instrumental, and more. The purpose of LABL is for independent music professionals to lead by example by using their gift to be impactful.
