Great Danes is a sometime solo, sometime duo, sometime full band project from Berlin, Germany. February saw the release of their first EP which features 5 dark ballads and a duet with Grammy Award winning artist, Kimbra.

St. Beaufort is an international Roots/Americana duo based in Berlin, bringing a raw and authentic sound that has captivated audiences across Europe — from the Scottish Highlands to Sicily’s southern shores. Lead singers and multi-instrumentalists Joe Jakubczyk (USA) and Henric Hungerhoff (Germany) blend their storytelling with a driving intensity that echoes through each performance. Built on a foundation of banjo and guitar, their music features alternating lead vocals and rich harmonies that invite listeners on a journey to wilder places and simpler times. St. Beaufort’s performances are all heart — pure acoustic energy, free from effects or frills, with a deep connection to the soul of Americana.

die Yonder Boys sind eine Old-Time Amerikanische Stringband mit einer kräftigen Prise Bluegrass und starken Harmonien.  Der Kern der Band sind Jason Serious (USA) und David Stewart Ingleton (AUS), die seit laengerem als Singing/Songwriting Duo auftretten und die auch frueher in der Jason Serious Band und als Vorgruppe fuer u.a. Billy Bragg und die Wood Brothers und auf dem bekannten Truck Festival in England zusammen gespielt haben.  In den Yonder Boys hat sich das Duo mit dem chlienischen Bassisten Tomas Peralta (aus der Bluegrassband St. Beaufort) und dem deutschen Mandolinspieler Matthias Itzenplitz zusammengeschlossen, um eine Sammlung neuer Songs in authentischer Amerikanischer Stringband-Besetzung zu praesentieren.  Die Band wird ihre Debut EP im November 2017 veroeffentlichen

Hi. My name is Mishka. I am a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, voice teacher and part time massage therapist, living between two incredibly vibrant cities : London and Berlin. The music I play is hard for me to describe, but it brings together the genres I love –jazz, folk, and music from all over Brazil – through a number of different projects. I love collaborating with other musicians and I consider myself lucky enough to have a musical family of people I have worked with over the span of many years and over several countries – England, Germany, The Philippines and Brazil – and who I continue to work with and be inspired by.  Most recently, I released an album in the UK with the great Pete Churchill called Stories to Tell. It is a collection of incredible songs written by Pete that we recorded with an astonishing group of musicians: Mark Lockheart, Adriano Adewale and Ben Barritt. I am also working on a new duo project in Berlin with one of my favourite piano players in the world, Pedro Carneiro Silva. We are in the middle of co-writing for an album that we hope to record in 2016.
