Pattern Recognition

Retyl è il mio progetto di musica elettronica. Dal 2010 tra synth e drum machines ho imparato a comporre beat e ritmi tra i più disparati. Dall’ambient al trip hop dalla noise alla chillout cerco sempre le combinazioni più adatte. Ispirazioni: FSOL Vangelis Archive chase & status prodigy chemical brothers ma anche post punk metal e gothic rock…nel 2023 esce il mio primo Ep autoprodotto di presentazione a titolo "Retyl"
Nel 2025 viene rilasciato l'album 'Onironauta' anche questo autoprodotto
Nell'estate 2025 viene rilasciato il secondo ep a titolo 'Where the Trees are Eternal'

Hi, I’m St.Cliche. 

I started making music as a hobby, just exploring sounds with synthesizers and samplers. For me, it’s always been about chasing the feeling I get when experimenting following a sound or idea to see where it leads. I don’t go into making a track with a clear plan usually I just enjoy the process and the surprises along the way.

A lot of my inspiration comes from the chaos and imperfections of older media: the way tapes degrade, the grit in old recordings, the texture that comes from things breaking down over time. Those flaws give the music character, and I like weaving that same sense of imperfection into what I create.

At the end of the day, I make music because it’s fun. It keeps me curious and gives me the space to keep exploring.
