Perc's "Loose Fit" was originally released on Void+1 as part of his Wavecannon EP in 2023.
For 2025, it got "refitted" by Perc himself, Tensal, and Scalameriya.
Perc's new version is taken from the recording of his live set at Awakenings in July 2024 and demonstrates the raw power and industrial grit of the original, but in a new, shiny armor, avoiding dramatic shifts and focusing on the gradual, controlled release of energy.
Tensal anchors his remix in archetypal techno and delivers a groove-driven, hypnotic aesthetic charged with floor-shaking intensity, making it both relentless and refined, while Scalameriya takes an entirely different angle and offers an eerie, cybernetic interpretation. An alternative, broken-/offbeat version of it comes as a "Bandcamp-exclusive" track, only available as a reward for techno enthusiasts who purchase the whole release.

There are names in techno that move like soundwaves through steel. You see them on a lineup, the vinyl’s center-label, blinking on a CDJ readout in some cavernous warehouse, and you just know that there will be a sudden shift in energy. Tensal is one of those names. He doesn’t just contribute to techno, he refines and sharpens it into an edge that you can't resist walking on.
The thing about a Tensal track is that it fits anywhere: among polymetric hypnosis, peak-hour pummeling, late-night machine prayer; always channeling the DNA of classics, but expertly submitted to mutation that always comes with his signature.
Void+1 knew exactly what they were doing when they handed him the keys to their laboratories: "Metaphysical Trauma", is not just an EP, it is one of his most essential blueprints yet; a blueprint for a temporal weapon in disguise, with four tracks in the barrel that hit like excerpts of an alternate timeline where dancefloors were battlegrounds: feral, seductive and unrelenting.
Nostalgia? A catchphrase of yesterday. This is techno's survival instinct. Always functional, but never sterile; operating in the folds of repetition and rupture, between tension and resolve, processed through decades of refinement and tempered by history.
