Steam Powered Giraffe's very first album was originally released in 2009. By 2011, founding member Erin Burke (who played the robot Upgrade) had left the band to pursue other opportunities. Since the band only had one album at the time, during their 2011-2012 performances at the San Diego Zoo, the band decided to change this album to feature just the current robot lineup. This included new cover art, the removal of Erin Burke's vocals, and the replacement of the song "I Am Not Alone" with the song "Ice Cream Parade". 

This version features the original release of Album One as it was in 2009, with the robot Upgrade, her vocals, and her song "I Am Not Alone". It also includes the track Ice Cream Parade from the 2011 release as a bonus.

The third studio album from San Diego's quirky group of antique automatons released in 2013. This release introduced the robot named Hatchworth to the band and new musical programming interfacing with their familiar harmonic tones for a variety of sleek, ear-pleasing catchy melodies, fresh beats, and comedic stylings. From pop music to disco, the robots will have you tapping your toes all night long. Listen with caution, though, because you might just catch Hatch Fever!

The robots from Steam Powered Giraffe are in a video game!
That's right! Steam Powered Giraffe did music for the video game SteamWorld Heist. Rabbit, The Spine, and Hatchworth also make an appearance in the game, as themselves, entertaining their fellow robots in-game with their catchy tunes!

This album includes the SteamWorld Heist theme song created by the band, as well as 12 tracks, featuring 6 completely original songs written for the game, and 6 classic Steam Powered Giraffe songs, re-recorded to fit into the SteamWorld Heist game universe. Ever wanted to hear what an acoustic version of Automatonic Electronic Harmonics would sound like? Well the game and this album have one! We even have a version of Brass Goggles, with backing vocals sung by the entire game development team at Image and Form!

In the video game SteamWorld Heist you command a steam-driven pirate crew in a series of epic tactical shootouts. Steam Powered Giraffe is a musical project from San Diego, California. It was formed in 2008 by twin siblings David Michael Bennett and Isabella Bunny Bennett. Together, along with a cast and crew filled with theatrical backgrounds, the group takes on the guise of singing antique automatons and the fictional robotics company that made them.

From their heartwarming nostalgic melodies to their funky cabaret rock, Steam Powered Giraffe’s songs are memorable, infectious, and as unique as the robots themselves.

More than just a band, Steam Powered Giraffe is an experience that must be seen and heard by the entire family.
