We’re taking the Bronx to Ghana this week in our never ending quest to fuse golden era hip hop with universal rhythms. In one corner, we have the funk soul brother himself, Lord Finesse, whose “Keep the Crowd Listening” is a non-stop barrage of dope punch lines. In the other, we gave band leader and guitarist extraordinaire, Ebo Taylor, whose “Heaven” is an afrobeat classic that has delighted a new generation of music fans.
