Through the poplars, different echoes resonate.
Those old roots are already tired of the concrete jungles, of the indiscriminate usurpation of what once belonged to everyone, and of that trivial exploitation of the eternal for the most ephemeral purposes that so abound.
Does no one see the inherent brilliance in each moment, the hidden magic behind every 'simple' act? It is in that glow, behind the mirror, where the true reality hides, and no one seems to want to notice it; no one wants to see beyond their own reflection.
Or so it seemed. Little by little, curiosity, for lack of a better resource and having already discarded the rest of the options, seems to be having an effect on the disoriented masses in search of a direction. And while many have already dared to look and have even been on this side for a long time, there had never been an interest of this magnitude.
God is dead, the poets exclaim, and it must be because of this that the illusory balance that sustained banal existence lost its unstable stability.
For those who know how to listen, the trumpets that announce the coming of a different panorama resonate, where the old values ​​are no longer of any use.
Perhaps the poets are right.
Perhaps it was that old center that sought to give meaning to what has none, that with symbols tried to represent the greatest of abstractions, which retained a species with as much potential as can be imagined.
Will the news that the poets so much announce and that the trumpets keep exposing to the ears of those who are well attached to the greatest of illusions ever arrive? Will those deaf ears want to hear it?
It's just a matter of waiting and dancing, to the rhythm of the moon, while we do so. Thus leaving them, at least, a small trace of what it feels like to dwell behind the almost imperceptible veil that separates us.

Atoloi - A. Come Il Furore (Hazy Al Ponte Delle Barche Dub)

Hailing from Ukraine’s Odesa, @b1ju is exploring the intersection between dehumanized synthetic sounds and natural healing systems. His sound blends dense organic minimalism with industrial oxidized dynamics, merging with psychotropic breaks inspired by abyssal echoes. He's part of Warsaw based SUMISH collective, which bridges diverse communities through different creative disciplines: values such as diversity and mutualism merge together with a deep respect for the cultural background of both the local scene and allochthonous artists. Bijū also curates the Healing Machine show on Mutant Radio, dedicated to experimental, slow-rolling electronic music.

Framework presents the fourth edition of TOWER Imports, a limited mix series designed to incorporate international artists into New York's TOWER project.

This entry comes from Eastern Distributor, the stage name of Naarm-based artist Daniel Jakobsson, a versatile creator pushing the boundaries of electronic music.

Eastern Distributor focuses on a rich tapestry of deep, syncopated basslines and minimalist, crisp percussion. Tracks unfold with ambient, evolving soundscapes that create an atmospheric backdrop, inviting exploration and introspection within its rhythmic foundation. 

"I'm so excited to be sharing this mix for the Framework/TOWER series. I love the concept, this particular mix is inspired by the glass component in the construction of the tower. I leant toward choosing dynamically wide tracks; low end and layered high frequency percussion. One and a half hours of shifting between experimental, dubstep, liquid and plenty of tek. Madrid-based @JanSwam is one half of Organic Signs, multifaceted label which has become a hub for a variety of artists, releasing music that traverses a rich blend of electronic productions. Alejandro digs mostly tribal rhythms and psychedelic elements, mixing intricate structures within a rich tapestry of textures that moves from obscure mental landscapes to deconstructed spatial patterns. The artist’s latest works have gained recognition through releases on labels such as @techlabbp and @materica-records, while the recent premiere by @axytmt showcases his very own imprint’s signature record, highlighting the solid presence in between the Spanish scene. Monochrome presents, 𝖊́𝖙𝖊́ 𝖑𝓥 : Mei-k̂.

This summer, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on percussive rhythms between Ambient, Deep Techno and Drum & Bass.

Artist Biography :
'Mei-k̂' is thought to mean ‘to mix/mingle’ in the Indo-European primo-language. 
Behind this concept, Jugulaire and Alkemia merge their sonic perspectives and relationships to music. An organic, deconstructed and spontaneous vision of the mix is combined with a more technical approach based on a knowledge of the evolution of techno from its origins. 
The result is a captivating, dreamlike and sometimes disturbing journey through soundscapes that link plant, mineral and insectoid elements with technology and the language of machines.
