Single from Debut EP 'Breathe' by Goldielocks. release date of EP 30th October 2013. 

‘Breathe EP’ is an exploration of movement. Influenced by a new wave of electronic/hip hop/psychedelic music from artists like Flying Lotus, Jamie xx, Nicolas Jaar, Seekae, and XXYYXX amongst others. Essentially, it is cheesy electronic music from a classic hip hop perspective. While using tacky, and over-the-top instruments, the focus was to give life to the beats – transforming it from clinical MIDI sounds to a heavily-breathing, constantly evolving lifeform, as the title suggests. Written, recorded & produced during June-August, and released September 2013. Enjoy

Malka Tuti in collaboration with the italian imprint Roccodisco, and label bosses Ed Rodion and Hugo Sanchez bring forth "Perfidia". Ed and Hugo (aka Alien Alien) are no strangers to pitched down sexy dancefloor tunes. With previous releases on Slow Motion records they've made a name for themselves as sexy bastards. With Perfidia they present the vocalist Igino, a friend from home, Rome. Together they've boiled a slow burning, constantly evolving song for the late late hours. Strong Kick, deep low frequencies and those vocals lay the foundations for a true K-Pop hit. On the remix for the A-side Malka Tuti present a collaboration of two disco legends Ray Mang and Severino Panzetta (oh Horse Meat Disco), that add a Mediterranean flavor to the original tune, easing things up... On the b-side we have another slow burner with "Bella l'Estate", joined by a top remix by Tel Avivian prodigy Naduve to conclude your go to "hit of the summer package".

Last night had saw them dine out in style upon the fact that they might not return to the old abandoned stomping ground. It had been a humble home to many a light night wanderer across the years and soon it would be little less than a pile of rubble, bricks and wiring. The den was no more.

PREMIERE: Drugface - Wake Up Call (SIAUBAS Remix) [Party Central]

It can now be revealed. Anonymous internet supergroup Drugface is going public, unmasking themselves as Multi Culti audio-visionary Thomas Von Party and Montreal cult legend John Shape, who absorbed the life rights to the Beaver Sheppard Story in an online game of Russian Roulette. If you’re reading this, the Von Party element probably makes so much sense that you’ll never forgive yourself for not realizing it sooner. The vibes, the production; it was there the whole time.  Eagle-eared listeners may have ID’d Shape from his Ricardo Villalobos-produced remix pack on Sei Es Drum, or as the singer in German instrumental band Brandt Brauer Frick. Those who guessed both members are now on some kind of list.

“In the Clouds” is the latest single from the secretly prolific duo, a synaesthetic window into a realm where everything tastes like data and everything sounds like mushrooms. B-side “On the Prowl” is a collaboration with Multi Culti vitamin-shaman Dreems, with the results entrusted to Finnish synth-lord Jori Hulkkonen to ensure everything holds up 9,000 years from now. 

For the remixes, Simple Symmetry pull you through a wormhole to the sunny beaches of Moscow, The Beat Escape add massive doses of class and elegance. We tested these descriptions on 50 tastemaker chimps, and all 50 were still at least “somewhat jazzed” about hearing the tracks anyway.

And of course it goes without saying that Multi Culti is proud to present this.
