The series returns with a new act in the family laying down a selection of tracks out of his homeland.

Nitin is the Toronto-based co-founder of the No. 19 Music label (along with Jonny White) and, thus, a key player in the recent explosion of the city’s scene on the world stage. His DJ career has also been on the rise, taking in shows across Europe and the U.S, BPM Festival and down into Latin America – and regularly sharing the turntables with the world’s best DJ’s at his Toronto residencies.

Here is what he has to say about the set:

'This mix features 11 tracks from some of my favourite Canadian artists whose music I’ve been playing at one time throughout my DJ career. There are so many other amazing Canadian artists who I would have loved to use their on this, but since there was limited time is was difficult to choose only use a handful of tracks.

I've not only included Canadian artists but also some great Canadian labels. Labels like New Kanada, My Favorite Robot Records, Blue Recordings and of course my No.19 Music. Doing this mix was a great way to go back and rediscover some music. Particularly the early No.19 and MFR stuff at the beginning of the mix, where I can now hear the progression of both labels. Another great old one was the Altitude song. Altitude aka Matt Thibideau is an old friend of mine who's been making amazing electronic music for the better part of 20 years. I contacted him when I started compiling this mix to see if he had any of his old music digitized as it was only ever released on vinyl (and my vinyl copies of some of this stuff have seen better days). He was kind enough to share the files with me and I was able to add one of my favourite tracks of his on this. The set represents a small fraction of the talent to come out of Canada. I encourage everyone to check out more music by the artists on this mix and any other Canadian house and techno artists out there.' - Nitin

It is easy to say true love is named techno,if you born in the 80ies and grown up with all this electronic synthie stuff like Jean Michael Jarre, New Order, Soft Sell.
At the age of 11, his biggest treasure was a Mayday- compilation recorded on tapes. From that moment on, his love for techno was born. His style is a mixture between minimal techno, techhouse, house and techno - a blend he calls "Tech'n Roll", because techno is more than music, techno is a way of life with a little bit of the lifestyle of the hippies in the sixties and seventies.
