„Ice Ice Baby“ DJ Set. 90er Classix u.a. mit Mark Morrison, Britney Spears, Ace of Base, Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, Vanilla Ice, Technotronic, Haddaway, Dr. Alban und Gala. Die Musik der 90er Jahre war geprägt von Stilen, wie sie unterschiedlicher kaum sein konnten: In den Charts fanden sich Rapper & Hip-Hopper genauso wie Boygroups und elektronische Eurodance Acts.
Durch den MP3-Player wurde ein neuer Markt erschlossen. Jetzt konnte jeder während er mit seinen Inlineskates und dem Eastpack-Rucksack auf dem Rücken durch die Straßen fährt, Musik hören.
Die 90er Jahre waren auch das goldene Zeitalter der Musikvideos. MTV wurde zur globalen Marke und mit VIVA wurde der erste Musiksender in Deutschland gegründet.

OUR 3RD INSTALLMENT OF IN THE MIX COMES ALL THE WAY FROM BRUSSELS, BELGIUM; THE PIONEERS OF INDUSTRIAL/TECHNO KNOWN AS FRONT 242. DUE TO THE GREAT PANDEMIC OF 2020, EVERYONE'S PLANNED WORLD TOUR HAS COME TO A HALT. PRESENTED HERE IS A UNIQUE TIME-TRAVELLER MIX RUNNING OVER 2 HOURS LONG. THESE TRACKS WERE PREPARED BY RICHARD 23 FOR THE BAND'S AUDIENCE PRIOR TO SHOWTIME INCLUDING CLASSIC ELECTRONIC MUSIC (PRE-DATING FRONT 242), TRACKS THAT HAVE INFLUENCED THE BAND & "CALM BEFORE THE STORM" SELECTIONS WHICH WOULD LEAD INTO 242'S HIGH ENERGY STAGE ATTACK.  PRIOR TO LISTENING, RICHARD EXPLAINS THE IMPORTANCE OF INDEPENDENT RECORD STORES, EARLY PURCHASES THAT HAD AN AFFECT ON HIM AND HOW THESE SHOPS WERE INTEGRAL TO THE BAND ITSELF. AN INSIGHTFUL AND DEEPLY PERSONAL TRIBUTE TO OUR CULTURE WHICH WE ARE HIGHLY THANKFUL FOR.

In the early 90s, he began programming electronic music as a machinist on an Amiga 500 computer with tracker and sampling software. With a growing number of synthesizers and outboard devices, the melodies in the duo ‘Gaze At’ became more and more complex and melodic by the mid-90s. From the end of the 90s until 2005, there were several activities under the pseudonym Melt Pax. Now he performs sessions on the modular system.
