This song centers on the story of Jesus and his disciples out on the lake, caught in a ferocious storm. The disciples fear for their lives until, with a word, Jesus calms the wind and waves. "Where is your faith?" he asks, "Why are you so afraid?" 
"Because we almost died in the wind and the waves!" they answer. 
And they look at each other and ask, "Who is this man, that even the winds and the waves obey him?"
