Schneeweiss III: a collaboration of neighbours. 

Over the years, Oliver Koletzki has continuously cited Berlin as a point of reference and, more importantly, a source of inspiration. Two of his albums – Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 – have been a direct ode to the capital. Friedrichshain, one of Berlin’s vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Oliver’s heat. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Moreover, the Stil vor Talent HQ is situated in the centre of the bustling Kiez. 

So is Schneeweiss, one of Friedrichhain’s best and most loved restaurants. Over the course of eight years, the stylish eatery has impressed many a Berlin foodie with its contemporary take on alpine cuisine and attention to detail. Music is part of the experience here, which is no surprise due to one of the owners’ extensive background in Berlin’s club scene of the early days. Caramelo met a secret new comer from Vienna in House Scene : Wasnme.
Wasnme gave here 3 exclusively tracks ! On A side you find "Standing Hi" a sweet balearic's melody following by a groovy bassline and deepy synths. The 2nd on this side is "Aleks" (short mix) produced by our friend from Rocker 33 in Stuttgart : Konstantin Sibold ! With an old school Chicago style and such a groove who gave a touch of class !
On the flip, "Whatever" bring a good moody atmosphear, a kind of Detroit here ! "We're puttin it mathematically" is the good conbination of some synths seems to be from Detroit and an intensive bass who never end.
Spring time you said ? Summer time indeed !

This set was recorded on my first trip to South Africa, where I performed at a festival and a free show in Soweto alongside local artists Vinny da Vinci , Dj Fresh, Euphonik, Culoe de Song and LSG. All tour dates were partnered with non-profit organisation Bridges for Music. The aim was to use music to break down socio-economic boundaries bringing people from different communities together . 'DE9 Fragments' is a series of fragmented audio edits based upon my live DJ set recordings. Each one will attempt to capture the feeling and direction of the night, giving those who were there a reminder of the events they experienced while giving those who were not present a fragmented distortion of what they missed.
