With this set you show better than in others that you are a very good dj: it is more difficult to mix downbeat, as people can reconize every little mistake, and there is in reality no need to use high bpms to express energy. Very nice, keep on!

This mix is somewhat overdue. Over the last 2 years i have been collecting quite a number of amazing songs that have made contact with the repeat function of my music player. Usual suspects like Max Cooper, Extrawelt and Moderat to name a few. The challenge was to fit them in a coherent mix.

Actually, there is a story behind the selection of this set. When i started my record collection around 1998, i bought my first +200 BPM records from Akira, who was working at a recordshop (mainly selling trance/house/techno), but was selling these rough ep's more or less from under the counter hahaha. So i decided part of this set would a tribute to that period, late 90's fast, industrial and mental hardcore, mainly rare french and UK tunes! These tunes remain a big inspiration for me. Big thanks to the man Akira, for hosting a platform for me to play such a set, arriving full circle after almost 19 years!
And ofcourse playing at such a massive festival as Dominator was fucking awesome, and having so many old and new friends supporting me through the entire set completed the epic experience! 

So thank you all and i hope you enjoy the recording! :D

Their unique blend of tekno, hardtek, hardcore and breaks instantly spread across Europe, through their vinyl label and various sublabels. From 2010 Stefan ZMK started to release his tracks on various European labels like Obs.Cur, Peur Bleue, Mackitek, Hangar, Hit ’n Run, etc. With tracks like Summoned, Predator and Surrender, he has made a firm mark on the rising Acidtekno and Acidcore scene. Those sought-after records are a fresh combination of acidic, mental and industrial sounds, with the fierce impact of techno and hardcore. 
His unique sound and insane cross-genre mixing skills has taken him all over Europe, even playing major events like Dominator, Q-base, Totemystik, Retro Acid, DefQon1, Lost Theory, Bangface Weekender, PRSPCT XL, Winter Conspiracy, X-live, Foorcore, Elements Mountain Festival, Nowhere Spain etc. 
And since the first C19 lockdown, Stefan teamed up with Li-Z to host the bimonthly cross genre radioshow MXSRS on PRSPCT Radio. 

Over the years, he has gained the reputation for smoothly switching between contrasting styles, using obscure elements, custom edits and the freshest beats available. And with over 23 years of experience, he is considered to be, one of the most booked Dutch DJs from the free-party movement.
