After a string of releases on labels such as East End Dubs’ Eastenderz, Max Dean’s neXup recz, and Archie Hamilton’s MicroHertz, Stef Davidse is kicking off his 2025 schedule with his most hyped release to date. With nearly four million streams on his ‘Burnin’’ collaboration with ANOTR, the Dutch newcomer has quickly earned recognition as one to watch. Now, making his label debut on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax—home to releases from Carloh, Wheats, EVIE, and more—Davidse drops ‘P Power,’ a pair of tightly charged house productions that bring a dynamic energy to the label’s catalogue.

“My upcoming release holds a special place in my heart. Ever since I started DJing, Hottrax releases have always been a staple on my USB. One of my all-time favourites is Patrick Topping’s ‘Walk On’. Back in the day, my friends and I would share those incredible tracks, blasting them in whoever had the best car sound system. To now have the chance to release on this iconic label feels like a dream come true. The track P-Power is one of my most requested tracks ever, and I can’t wait to finally share it with the world. Tried and tested by Stef at Eastenderz’s ADE event, ‘P Power’, hits hard with undulating synths, a relentless bassline, and a killer vocal cut designed to cause chaos on the dancefloor. Next, ‘Going Down’ layers shuffling hi-hats, spacey pads, and looping synths that evolve into a groovy, bass-driven beat.

Dutch, Rotterdam-based DJ & Producer Stef Davidse is making his strides these days. His music travels the world with as many as 163 countries. His music is supported by big names like Jamie Jones, Archie Hamilton, Josh Baker, East End Dubs to name a few. As a young boy, he loved listening to electronic music but fell in love with house music in 2018. At the time making hip hop was his thing but that shifted to experimenting with house music on a daily basis. 

The music Stef is looking for can be described as rolling tunes with a recognisable bass and outstanding synths, which can be clearly heard in his productions and sets. Vocals, Synths and a rolling bass line are Stef's priorities. A jack-of-all-trades, Stef likes to explore different styles and push his musical boundaries. Stef believes that music is a universal language spoken by everyone. For Stef, the concept of music means unity and living in the moment.
