If anything would be able to remind us of a simpler time when music was EVERYTHING, we lived for the weekend, and work was just the monotonous bit between long and fun-packed parties… it would be the image below! 

Crammed with tracks predominantly from the golden era of trance, skilfully remixed and brought into the present by the talented Charlie Walker and myself, I put this RΞBOOTΞD showcase together with the intent of encapsulating everything we love about trance and, with the tracks I’ve included, spark off as much nostalgia as possible. One track that will surely get the Sheffield faithful reminiscing has to be my collaboration with Skylex… Crazy Malamute’s ‘Free to Ride,’ which features the newly recorded guitar riff played by Stu Hartland

In the late 90’s and early 2000’s, clubs up and down the country were booming with the majority of these tracks, week in, week out, but none more so than Sheffield’s club scene. 

These tunes may have been produced elsewhere, but they were MADE in Sheffield!

I have been a Dj for almost 35 years mainly playing old school in clubs around the Liverpool area.  I have also fell in love with uplifting trance for the past 10 years or so.
