Boston by way of Chicago by way of Boston, Penitence clamours and digs for all things dark and weird.  As founder of Boston's only weekly ebm and industrial night "LEATHER-ETTE" and doer and maker of other dark and experimental sound nights around the city, Charlie AKA Penitence has set a goal of helping to revive queer focused and inclusive dark sound culture within the Boston hellscape. This mix in particular is a shallow dig into the slower and more grind-ey side of his collection with everything from broken lo-fi electro to modern new beat to minimal industrial. It's a slow churning trip for sure.

bijū arose from the need to explore the intersection of machine and body. The need to blur the boundaries between dehumanized electronic music and the natural environment. Its selection is a constant search between minimalist and dense, dynamic and slow, sharp and blurry sounds. His a journey, inspired by the multidimensionality of sound synthesis and the sounds coming from the abyss ... a journey that makes you feel inevitably fragile.
As part of the Warsaw collective SUMISH wants to strengthen interactions between people through synergies, exchange of vision and knowledge, building bridges between the islands of different disciplines. Author of the program Gnostic Methods, dedicated to industrial and experimental music - every month on Thursdays at 4:00 p.m. on Radio Kapitał.

Dreams of Toraja is an atmospheric release composed of collected sound recordings from Tana Toraja (Sulawesi, Indonesia), live instruments and futuristic soundscapes. It is not an album built from a concept conceived beforehand, but a flow of expression where sound led the way and meaning revealed itself after. In this way, it is a deep dive into the subconscious.

Memory, dreams, death, ritual, ancestral symbols - flows the music not as distant echoes but as living patterns shaping creation. The stream carries you, shaping perception, memory, and the whole itself. Creating Dreams of Toraja is an act of synchronizing with that current. All in all, as it opens a portal where memory, dreams, and ritual align and guide towards death, it is an invitation from sound itself to shed the old skin and reveal the endless life force of creation - where symbols of the ancestral flow emerge naturally, weaving sacred harmony to find ourselves in the now, between the ancient memory & future vision.
