Standing at the forefront of a new era of experimentalists, Harald & Loek are giving us a masterclass in layering extraterrestrial textures within this one hour ride. From unpredictable half-time breaks to forward-thinking, tekno oriented basslines: this set showcases their feeling of the re-opened club nights after the massive Covid protest rave in Amsterdam a few weeks ago. 

Keep an eye on these two. Both as a duo and solo. They have been on our radar since one of their collaborative productions played by Woody92 & Spekki Webu during the Minimal Collective showcase at Amsterdam Dance Event. Little did we know that these guys are brewing on a lot of great projects and about to open the box of pandora on is in the upcoming years. We can't wait for more to come, but for now...

Ryan Blackman (@farfromthesun) is a London-based DJ who has been active since the mid90s, playing records at clubs such as Final Frontier, Sabresonic, and most significantly LOST. Artists ranging from Aphex Twin and Autechre to Jeff Mills, Claude Young, and Jay Denham, among others, were an inspiring influence in his early years. Later on, he went on to promote his own event across Europe, allowing him to continue with his passion: play and collect electronic music. On this occasion, he presents a well-turned mix that offers different approaches to electro, eclectic, and perfectly blent. Enjoy it!

Next up we have the Rotterdam resident & Pinkman crew member, Genyten. While coming to the light side of the scene relatively recently, she has turned heads with her performances at Dekmantel Selectors, DT Camp, Conflux Festival, and next to the likes of Zohar, I-F, Ofra, Gamma Intel, and of course Marsman.
Her obsession with music is once again on show in this mix; as she drifts away from her normal eclectic blend of EBM, industrial, electro & avant-garde in this one, the result is what can only be described as pure filth. Haunting soundscapes driven by half-time percussion is the mood for DUSK226, get your skank face on folks.

From the wind instruments in “9 April” to the bass line played on Paul Gray’s (Slipknot) Ibanez PGB1 bass guitar in the finale — every element here is unique and one-of-a-kind. The dynamics unfold as a complete journey: an atmospheric opening, the urban groove of an evening city, techno hypnosis in tandem with the 808 bass, and an unexpected trigger-driven finale that transitions into the documentary scale of “Next One.” This is an album that fully immerses the listener into its own world, where rhythm, noise, and live performance merge into a single sonic dramaturgy.
