"Lunar Elegance" takes place on the surface of the moon, blending retro-futurism with high fashion in an otherworldly, glamorous setting. Inspired by the 1950s space age aesthetic, the models exude sophistication, dressed in sculpted metallic spacesuits that embody a perfect balance of vintage and futurism. Their movements are slow and deliberate, capturing the hypnotic, ethereal quality of weightlessness, synchronized to minimal techno beats that echo through the silent lunar landscape.

Continuing to add exciting new talent to their roster, Astral Records welcomes Avaddon to label for their debut EP. Hailing from Israel, the duo first emerged in 2022 with a three-track showcase via Us & Them Records. Noted for a sound that utilizes a techno framework, Avaddon often pulls elements from ambient, trance, and even rock music into their productions, resulting in a sonic signature that is undeniably their own. Subsequent releases via Siamese and SIZE, coupled with support from Adriatique would solidify the Tel Aviv residents as a rising force within the world of melodic house and techno. Title selection ‘Hands Up’ further cements Avaddon’s dancefloor minded ethos with its dynamic drive and swing-heavy cadence. Anchored by rocketing beats and percussive flashes, the journey tastefully builds to a wild-eyed intensity of striking vocal stabs and crystalline designs, carving out a memorable path into the break. Pressure.

It’s easy for me to think it comes from the outside, as if an external force is weighing on my chest. Fear of something that might happen to me in the future—often without even knowing exactly what I’m afraid of. But the truth is, most of the time, the pressure comes from within me, projected onto the outside world. As if from some past self, not realizing that the feeling has little to do with present reality.

Under the right pressure, I can manifest things that I probably wouldn’t without it. But when it becomes too much, it can block me from actually doing the things I want. It’s a thin line, and navigating it can be difficult—I sometimes get caught up in it completely.

It’s asking me to set boundaries—not only towards others but, most importantly, for myself. And to do this, I first need to take ownership of it.

Try to see where it comes from, listen to it, relax into it, and use it to your advantage—as guidance in the right direction.
