Delgres was born from Pascal Danae’s encounter with drummer Baptiste Brondy and sub-bassophone player Rafgee.

Pascal Danae is an author, composer, guitarist and singer. He was a member of the French-Brazilian band Rivière noire, with which he won the Victoire de la musique in 2015 in the «world music» category.

Then in 2015 Pascal Danae reconnects with the blues the dobro guitar and the Creole language, in homage to his Guadeloupean great grandmother whose letter of emancipation dating from 1841.

He then turned to drummer Baptiste Brondy, member of Lo'jo and occasional collaborator of Matthieu Chedid and Jean-Louis Aubert. Together, they met Rafgee, a trumpeter who graduated from the Paris Conservatory,4 who regularly integrated orchestras hosting Caribbean balls with his soubassophone.

@meraque brings contemporary electronica together with traditional sounds from the Balkans and the Middle East. Their Symbiosis EP features a dynamic mix of compositions where danceable rhythms, lyrical melodies and dreamy soundscapes conjoin. Rhythms are reminiscent of typical Balkan grooves, which are embodied by the djembe, tapan and darbuka. All this is served on a bed of electronic elements, which provide extra punch and danceability. Ray by Yui Onodera is a lithe album of glittering electro-acoustic music which blends impeccable sound design and processing with acoustic instrumentation. The material was originally commissioned for use in a film about John Cage, so it's no surprise to hear the percussive sound of a prepared piano appear regularly throughout the album. Its plucked, staccato strings are contrasted by lush string arrangements and textural washes, argent synthesizer arpeggios add their own precise voice to the mix.

The material for Ray will feature on the film Cage 64 which is to be released in the near future. Our thanks to director Markus Heidingsfelder for letting us release it. The sleeve artwork is a collage of stills from the set design for Europeras (a series of five operas by John Cage) shown at the Ruhrtriennale in Germany, also kindly used with permission.

Ben Lukas Boysen has made a career out of transforming unusual sounds into compelling music. His first electronic compositions at 18 were experiments with samplers and tape loops leading to an album in 2003 and the subsequent foundation of his own Berlin studio. Since, he has produced multiple albums (many under the alias HECQ), and led numerous workshops on composition and sound aesthetics, as well as creating custom sound design for films, commercials, video games and installations. Boysen’s first film score for „Restive" premiered in 2011, followed by his debut album under his own name in 2013, and the award-winning score for the Sony Playstation game, Everything, in 2016 as well as Amazon series „BEAT“ in 2018 and the score for the  film adaptation of best seller „The Collini Case“ in 2019.

The personality of Alaix Pulse was born in the early 2000s. Fascinated by African rhythms and natural sounds, but also influenced by the pop rock culture of the 90’s’ of his parents. Alaix began composing his first songs on a video game console at the age of 13. Experimentation has always been a key point in each of these musical productions, thereby exploring different genres over the years. Over time his signature sound further developed and he got recognised by great venues, such as LaCoste Castle, that gave him the opportunity to perform his music and spread the love even more.
