Hailing from the Iberian nations as a native Angeleno in Los Angeles, Steven Lira has been in the DJ circuit since 2005. Steven Lira started collecting hundreds of records through out his youth, only inspiring him to play records and get into the DJ movement on vinyl and now continuing his DJ efforts by any means necessary. His influence comes from his youth growing up to Nu Wave/dance & rock n roll roots thanks to his mother, being inspired from the likes of New Order, Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Blondie (too name a few), & those have only inspired into the sounds of LCD SOUNDSYSTEM, CUT COPY, Richie Hawtin, M.A.N.D.Y., Seth Troxler, MK, Ben Klock, Tale Of Us, & more... House/Techno/underground acts & more... 

Steven Lira came to rise in the DJ scene & curating movement thanks to DJing & throwing events along side LA'S early tastemaker days in 2005...From there on Steven Lira continues to DJ & curate musical functions all over favorite LA residencies (past and present): Room 86, Smoke & Mirrors, Moscow, The Standard Hotel, The Sayers Club , Dirty Laundry, Hyde Lounge, Clinic, Roosevelt Hotel, Lot 613, Exchange, Minimal Effort, Rolling Tuff events, SOUND, No Filter, U.R. Art Festival, Mondrian Hotel, warehouses, private events...

Not only DJing some of LA's circuit spots & musically enhanced events for the new yet forward, he djs Fashion events, store/concept events, magazine events, brand events, dj'd many favorite Coachella industry events, and the native favorite Parallel Dimensions events (another event sponsored by SCION in May 2012).  He continues to realm form not just djing music but channeling into event production as well with producing many events in LA w/ U.R. Art Festival, Framework, Rolling Tuff, Crosstown Rebels, Life & Death, MFG, Redbull: This City Belongs To Me, Sound, Kelvin, Minimal Effort, INMO, & more for the music scene in LA and beyond...

Steven Lira provides a sound that he knows not only he will like but his audience will cue in for. Due to whatever beat is making his foot dance to the beat, he provides an influence of sounds that is surprising, leaving an audience wanting more each set for those innovation motion vibes.

Recently, Steven was brought on board at Sound Nightclub to do the special Friday's events with the team of Jeni Luv, Craig (The BPM Festival), Parallel Dimensions, & Droog (Culprit). Steven always had an underground vision with future musik, hence was the right time to move innovation motion.
