Elegy No.3 (piano interpretation by Milana Zilnik)

I had a couple of collabs with Ivan Ujevic (https://soundcloud.com/iohannes) before, adding ambient piano to his magnificent ambient guitar. The very recent one was just a couple of days ago: https://soundcloud.com/iohannes/elegy-no-3-ft-milana-zilnik
Same time Ivan asked me if I can play the solo piano version of the piece. He didn't have the note sheet so I asked if it's ok to just interpret the piece with an improvisation rather than trying to follow the original composition precisely. Ivan gave his approval and we recorded this interpretation by "cutting" the original into 5-10 seconds parts and improvising on each of them separately, then merging everything into one piece.

Been feeling a bit under the weather of late, lost my way..

thought I´d make a piano piece to get it out of me,,, haven´t done one in awhile.  Kind of like the result although I´m of course biased.

If anyone reads this, then I´ll be starting removal of my older pieces soon off soundcloud, if you are interested in some of those songs then please let me know and I will let them be available for download for you.  I´m pretty sure I won´t be renewing my account and have started concentrating more on other places since SC is pretty much a time hog and dead  end for me and my music it seems. But will be keeping a free account though probably. So please let me know soon if there are any songs you want to keep with you.

I have now been a member of Soundcloud for many years. In that time my interest has moved more into making music for tv and trailers, and there I send most of my time. However I love making piano music but unfortunately Soundcloud is not a good place for us that would like to have this as a part of our daily work schedule.

I get about 1000 - 1500 plays a day and thankfully regularly ppl like my music and follow me. That however does nothing to help my career.

If I got those plays at Spotify for example that would make my music more attractive.

So I ask you if you like this music and my music in general to come follow me on Spotify, or Apple music, or where ever. I have a 10 track piano album almost ready, but that will not go here, except teasers.

Spotify is filling up with fake musicians that make money for Epidemic and Spotify themselves. Help us real musicians to get through the noise.
