Around the piano composition, I recorded clarinet, percussions and sounds to bring some extra-life and also asked my friend @plex-auchta to play drums. He did an excellent job! I just found the file just recently on my old backup. All my sounds were recorded with my old Zoom H2 recorder, so it's quite noisy. Also, I did an automatic mastering because I'm incredibly too lazy to do so correctly. I should record in more decent way. We can say that was a mockup. Hope you can enjoy it. The Music Box

My name is Sacha Hoedemaker, and I am a Dutch composer. I have played the piano since I was eight years old; honing my craft bit by bit. I got picked up quite early in my career by successful directors and producers. They offered me to work behind the scenes, which was a tremendous opportunity for me to work on my songwriting-skills. 



I started working on numerous projects; I wrote compositions for commercials, shows, and indie-movies. It dawned on me that my work mainly helped other people excel in their career — which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. But whenever I wrote a great composition, the producer got the credits. Over time, my job left me unfulfilled; it felt like I was not living up to my true potential — in other words, things had to change. 

And luckily for me, change came earlier than I expected. I always say, “You never know how things will turn out. Whatever happens, happens. The important thing is that you followed your gut.” And I did. It still feels a bit unreal to me, but I am so proud to announce my music to you.

Faded Memories

If you like relaxing music or contemporary classical music, you're definitely in the right place, especially if you want to discover exciting new artists along with the more established ones! So, if you've liked one of my playlists, check out the rest or you might be missing out on some real gems! (I get no benefit from doing these, other than the joy of connecting people to good music!) As well as contemporary classical, I also have a few other relaxing playlists (ambient, jazz, chillout...), all with no words. 
After getting severe myalgic encepalopathy I found I have to rest a lot and at first it was very boring and frustrating but then I got into Soundcloud! I've come across so many wonderful composers and musicians on here and have developed a love of contemporary classical music. I make relaxing playlists... I started out just for myself but it's always great if someone else enjoys them too! I always try to support artists by choosing their tracks instead of versions posted by fans/others, and I enjoy making my playlists diverse, including all the brilliant female and international composers out there etc (which seem to be lacking in a lot of playlists and auto-play, and which is a great shame as there's so much talent out there!)
Most days I repost my favorite track that I've heard that day from one of my playlists.
The artwork used for playlists all belongs to me and was done by myself or my dad.
