To continue the series of my all time favourit artists I am chuffed to share 75min of listening pleasure from Sebastian Mullaert (aka Minilogue) with you. What a yummy Santa Claus surprise :)

Thank you for all the great music you have created and the goosebumps and joy you have given us through your excellent sound! And for taking the time to inspire us with your very interesting and meaningful interview answers.

Interview:
1. Lucidflow: How does a creative day look/feel like for you?

Sebastian: I try to live a life where I have the possibility to be reminded about my being and at the same time be able to remind other beings about their being. You could say that it's an invitation of the being to the being to be ... Might sound stupid but at the moment I feel that this is the only true meaning there is. I try to let this be the intention behind everything I do; both in my daily life, my zen practise and my creative work in the studio and when I'm performing music on stage.
Like most beings I meet on this journey I also have loads of habitual patterns and unbalances that can be a hinder in keeping this pure intention strong all the time, patterns that I'm unaware about that hinder me and my surrounding to express creativity. Being aware and see this and also gather the strength and faith to face what I most of all want to escape is part of this practise, my daily life with my wife and two children, my zen practise and my creative work in the studio are all amazing ways to do this. This is the life I have right now and I'm thankful for getting this opportunity to let freedom take place; within and outside ... Now lot of people don’t like Mondays and we think thats fair enough; going back to work feeling a decade older after a heavy weekend spent making memories with friends can be a chore for even for the most optimistic of us as we trudge back in to the daily grind. Fear not this week though as our favorite type of Monday, Acid Mondays are on hand to help stave off those post weekend blues today with an exclusive mix for us here at DT.

Formed somewhere in the 5th dimension, Acid Mondays is the cosmic coalition of fellow psychonauts Negghead and Lex Wolf. Brought together by their love for fat beats, inter dimensional travel & cups of tea; they are on a never-ending journey exploring inner and outer space.

Expect altered states of hallucinogenic house and reality bending techno. It would be a cliché to say they have a great future, but they’ve been there and beyond and have returned to the NOW to do it all again. They recently put out a string of exciting releases on labels such as Warp, Rockets & Ponies, ONE Records, & Last Night On Earth. They were also asked to remix Lakker’s ‘Milch’ for the legendary R&S Records. That and their remixes of Mood 2 Swing on King Street received big support all summer from Marco Carola, Seth Troxler, The Martinez Bros, George Fitzgerald, & D’julz to name a few.

Stelios Vassiloudis is a multifaceted composer, producer and DJ, originally hailing from Athens, Greece. Active in the electronic music since the early 2000s, he has cultivated a sound of his own - one that reflects his rich and diverse musical background, transcending the dance floor via an emotional narrative of complex soundscapes, intricate harmonies and hypnotic rhythms.

Classically trained, with a Bachelor’s degree in acoustical engineering and a Master’s degree in composition and arrangement, Stelios carved his path in electronic music by traversing the globe as a DJ and live performer, performing at premier venues the world over - intimate underground spots in Beirut, festivals in Miami, afterhours haunts in Tokyo, beaches in Vietnam and mega clubs in Ibiza.

His studio prowess and coveted productions have cemented his reputation as a versatile and acclaimed artist, as he has developed a formidable discography of LPs, EPs and remixes on iconic labels such as Bedrock, Rawax, Ovum, Rejected, Poker Flat, Constant Sound, Mobilee, Anjuna Reflections and Balance, among many others.

Not one to shy away from experimentation, the talent’s impressive back catalogue features a flush tapestry of influences from across the dance music spectrum. His impeccable technical knowledge and expansive musical lexicon allow him to make regular forays into disparate genres from raw peaktime techno to atmospheric ambient and from delicate lofi beats to futuristic drum n bass.

Recently relocating to SE Asia, Stelios has truly become immersed in the region’s flourishing scene - becoming a regular fixture on the circuit from Mumbai to Seoul, Beijing to Bali and all points between. His passion for this endeavour is best exemplified though his latest endeavour alongside iconic Hong Kong DJ and OMA music director Anthony Cheung (aka Anthony2). Together, they curate, run and perform “Dafbau” - an eclectic, east meets west bimonthly party concept, firmly rooted in the vibrant HK underground and showcasing the duo’s unparalleled aptitude for extended, late night dance floor madness.

Stelios’ intense passion and drive for progression in music serves as the fuel that keeps him inspired and relevant; qualities that no doubt ensure his continued reputation as a high calibre artist.
