Ancient Future Now co-runner Johannes Klingebiel joins forces with singer and multi-instrumentalist Johanna Klein (known for her alternative pop project Liv Alma) to fuse into JKJK. While the naming process of the project might look a little trivial (because it is), the music of the pair is anything but. Their debut EP „Constellations“ is a splash of a broad color palette thrown onto the monochrome landscape that is our contemporary club music scene, elegantly hazing genre boundaries and creating their own world of pop-infused club music (or club-infused pop music?) in the process.

„Silky Days“ might be one of those addictive tunes that never leave your daily listening playlists after hearing them the first time, with their effortless-seeming infusion of acoustic elements like guitar and drums evoking shades of the solo works of Thom Yorke or 90s Trip Hop á la Portishead or Massive Attack updated to 2020s aesthetics.

Following the release of singles ‘LMK’, ‘Holding On’ and ‘Hot Night’, LA-based DJ and producer Durante releases his debut album ‘Enter’ on Anjunadeep. 

Hailing from a small Italian village outside of Florence, Durante (aka Kevin Durante) began his musical journey in 2006. Drawn to the sweet spots where house and techno genres intersect, Durante’s versatile sound has seen him release with Anjunadeep, Armada, W&O Street Records, and Amtrac’s imprint Openers. Esteemed artists including Bonobo, RÜFÜS DU SOL, and Joris Voorn have praised Durante’s work, and he has collaborated with the likes of Diplo & Aluna on ‘Forget About Me’ and Amtrac on ‘Gather’, as well as remixing Cassian, Booka Shade, TWO LANES and more. 

Now, 18 years after his musical journey started, Durante finally shares his debut album ‘Enter’ on Anjunadeep. Inspired by the concept of portals and multiple dimensions, ‘Enter’ showcases his eclectic sound that has developed from Kevin’s diverse pool of musical influences, featuring Duke Ellington, classic Italo-disco, and early Cocoon records. 

“I’ve spent the past three years working on this album; it marks the beginning of many great endeavours in my life. It’s a coming-of-age story, but it’s also a reflection of the world around us. I’m happy to be able to share my emotions through music because the words escape me. Hopefully, you can find solace in the sound. Open your eyes, enter the portal to the sixth dimension.” - Durante 

Across 13 compelling tracks, Durante explores themes of self-discovery, acceptance, and love. The album features collaborations with Montréal-based producer and live act CRi, American vocalist Nathan Nicholson, Australian singer-songwriter Running Touch, Californian songstress and producer HANA, and London-based vocalist SOHN. 

With singles including ‘LMK’ and ‘Remedy’ released in the lead up to the album release, Durante has gained support on BBC Radio 1, SiriusXM Chill and SiriusXM BPM, as well as from key tastemakers including Pete Tong, MEDUZA, Joris Voorn and John Digweed. The album has amassed over 2.5m streams to date and gained praise from DJ Mag Italy and Forbes Magazine. 

Durante kicked off his album tour in January in the USA, playing in cities including New York, Los Angeles, and Seattle and at the Anjunadeep label showcase event at the esteemed London venue, the Roundhouse.

Stelios Vassiloudis is a multifaceted composer, producer and DJ, originally hailing from Athens, Greece. Active in the electronic music since the early 2000s, he has cultivated a sound of his own - one that reflects his rich and diverse musical background, transcending the dance floor via an emotional narrative of complex soundscapes, intricate harmonies and hypnotic rhythms.

Classically trained, with a Bachelor’s degree in acoustical engineering and a Master’s degree in composition and arrangement, Stelios carved his path in electronic music by traversing the globe as a DJ and live performer, performing at premier venues the world over - intimate underground spots in Beirut, festivals in Miami, afterhours haunts in Tokyo, beaches in Vietnam and mega clubs in Ibiza.

His studio prowess and coveted productions have cemented his reputation as a versatile and acclaimed artist, as he has developed a formidable discography of LPs, EPs and remixes on iconic labels such as Bedrock, Rawax, Ovum, Rejected, Poker Flat, Constant Sound, Mobilee, Anjuna Reflections and Balance, among many others.

Not one to shy away from experimentation, the talent’s impressive back catalogue features a flush tapestry of influences from across the dance music spectrum. His impeccable technical knowledge and expansive musical lexicon allow him to make regular forays into disparate genres from raw peaktime techno to atmospheric ambient and from delicate lofi beats to futuristic drum n bass.

Recently relocating to SE Asia, Stelios has truly become immersed in the region’s flourishing scene - becoming a regular fixture on the circuit from Mumbai to Seoul, Beijing to Bali and all points between. His passion for this endeavour is best exemplified though his latest endeavour alongside iconic Hong Kong DJ and OMA music director Anthony Cheung (aka Anthony2). Together, they curate, run and perform “Dafbau” - an eclectic, east meets west bimonthly party concept, firmly rooted in the vibrant HK underground and showcasing the duo’s unparalleled aptitude for extended, late night dance floor madness.

Stelios’ intense passion and drive for progression in music serves as the fuel that keeps him inspired and relevant; qualities that no doubt ensure his continued reputation as a high calibre artist.
