understands itself as an organisation with the aim of promoting soundworks and phonography. Phonography considers nature / the environment as an acoustic experience, loaden with musical sounds. It is as a form of art and culture, that Gruenrekorder promotes phonography. We therefore organise events, lectures, publications and exhibitions as well as artistic projects in the fields of phonography and soundwork. Jessy James LaFleur is a travelling poet and HipHop artist, who has been wandering the million paths of this earth like a nomad for almost 14 years, always on the quest for new adventures to write about.

She speaks 6 languages and uses 3 of them to interpret the colourful thoughts and ideas that run through her mind: sometimes mellow and literary, at times loud and anarchistic.

Jessy tries to make every listener part of her own multifaceted story.

She performs her creations world wide and since 2013 mainly in Germany, Austria, France and Belgium.

On top of that she hosts her very own Poetry events in Berlin, named ‘BubbleSlam’ and ‘Wortakkord,’ and ‘Die Reimzeichner’ in Hannover. 
She owns a Spoken Word agency named ‘Punkt.Komma.Spree!’ and she is currently working on her first light-hearted book called 

‘Confessions of a paper plane' and works on an HipHop LP with the same title.
