-- Room Temp Recs is the brain child of Los Angeles-based collective, Fritz Carlton, Ghostea, Lubelski, Kevin Anderson, and Rybo. Individually each artist has steadily left their marks on the scene with their respective signature stylings of House music. Now, they have decided to join forces in a collaborative effort to bring these styles together under a unified brand—Room Temperature Records.

Their first release titled "Melting Pot Volume 1" was a compilation that included the likes of LA's own Justin Jay, UK's rising star Josh Brown, as well as Australian up n comer Kovaxx, alongside RTR core members and friends. Melting Pot, as its name suggests, is an ongoing curation preceding the eclecticism that RTR wishes to bring to the proverbial House & Techno table. The release saw support from scene heavy hitters like Audiojack, Gorgon City, Crookers, Richard Ahmed, Illyus & Barrientos, among many more.

Get Down comes as an introduction for the core members of RTR to the world. The original mix stars the Room Temp Crew as a 5-way collaboration. The track utilizes a classic disco sample layered with cunning percussive work playing the skeleton to vintage synth chords and sly arpeggios. Complete with an upbeat remix from Lubelski, as well as a smoother cut from Ghostea & Houseboy, the EP is sure to set dancefloors ablaze.

What's Up Desert Hearts Family,

You guys might remember a little track called "Doses" that became
a Desert Hearts anthem back in April of 2016. Co-Producer of the
track, Lubelski, is back on the label with his first solo EP titled "Keep Going." Seriously this shit is on the dope! The title track "Keep Going" is a monster of a track that just keeps going and going and getting better and better. Chock-full of Prince guitar samples alongside tripped out vocals, this track has been destroying dance floors all year. On the B-side, “This Musik" is a funk blasted tune that can hold weight amongst the sleeziest of grooves. Half funky, half techie roll machine, the 2nd cut on the EP is every bit as flawless as the 1st.

The second release in the relatively new year is the add-on to its predecessor and directly linked to Melchior Bachmann's & exd.will's track. Actually, not intended for publication, Bacalao & Sonne have nevertheless decided to reveal their secret remix of this tune. As soon as you listen to their recreation you will know why: Bacalao & Sonne are telling a story that is definetely worth to listen to, from the first to the last second. They keep the groove from the original and built several melody structures and their well known synth-hooks around it – including one of the most emotional breaks they've ever produced.
