It brings us a succulent track, "Another Dimension," with tense synths intertwined with a powerful beat that touches on the Detroit techno of a few decades ago but without losing that deep, Chicago-inspired flavor.
This time, remixing this project, we have another prominent 2phonic member, Teboho Nkone, who gives us a more abstract version with fat bass lines that will send those pads straight to your nervous system.

Another Dimension (Original Mix)

Sebastian Busto is one of the new breed of south american producers who really put a trademark on the table with their sound. His melancholic, smooth layered house flavour comes from his classic musical education. His latest work 'Dreamers' deserve the title, something tendering for the mind and soul. The remixes on this package comes from Erich Von Kollar, K Nass and Che Armstrong.
Erich Von Kollar is the busiest man in the Stellar Fountain household, with so many gigs behind his back in 2015 he also focused on a lot of remix works, like this one. It's the usual intelligent house milieu Erich use to prefer, melted with the original tune's most impressing moments.
K Nass brought a bit of an eastern feel into his rework, which makes it more attached to the passion it try to express.
Che Armstrong operates with a deeper attitude, rolling towards a techy baseline combined with the main textures.

Yin and Yang (n.) - the concept of duality forming a whole. A fundamental premise in Chinese philosophy now transposed to the electronic dance industry through the creation of Proton "Editions". Through encyclopaedic knowledge of the 800+ strong Proton roster of labels Tripp Baronner has envisioned a new concept of the principle of seemingly polar opposites, coming together as interconnected and independent universal forces - life and death, the dark and the light: one complete entity.

From a passion for underground progressive house at opposite ends of the audio spectrum - the deep, shadowy atmospheres to the blissful, shimmering melodies, "Yin" and "Yang" were born in an effort to represent this phenomenon in musical form. Each release will provide a single remix of an existing Proton roster track for two inextricably linked labels in the form of a light (Yang) and dark (Yin) edition. Released on the same day, a strong contrast in styles will thus serve to complement each other and nourish the whole.

Madloch’s Sound Avenue returns, presenting new interpretations of Agustin Basulto’s ‘Regen’ EP. Originally released in March of 2017 it found the Argentinean artist showcasing his diverse sonic palette across four tracks, one of which received an excellent remix from Pole Folder.
Now as 2018 moves into the spring season Sound Avenue invites Roger Martinez, Adam Husa and label boss Madloch to reinvent a cross section of the EP.

Adam Husa has been making his mark on the deep house underground over the last year. Hailing from Montreal, the Canadian artist is not only responsible for some of the city’s finest events but has also showcased his music on flora and Magician On Duty. Now making his much anticipated Sound Avenue debut Adam provides a unique take on ‘Tercir Desliz’. Following a DJ friendly intro full of anticipatory vibes; warm bass swells, organic percussion and subtle but oh so gorgeous harmonics shift the energy into a glowing second act. Cascading, carnival-like motifs combined with dynamic stabs add an emotive energy to the rolling groove, completing this captivating seven minute journey.

Praveen Achary - Subside (Ezequiel Arias Club Mix)

The latest release on Nikko.Z's Dopamine Music welcomes Mariano Montori to the label for his debut single. The Argentinean artist has found a home on Lonya's Asymmetric Recordings this year with his 'Hurting Me' single. Also making considerable waves in the underground was Mariano's unofficial remix of David August's classic 'Epikur', which saw play from both Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Now presenting just his second original track of the year Mariano steps up to Dopamine Music with 'Limitless' alongside remixes from Erdi Irmak and Paul Deep. Well known for his groovy, emotive brand of progressive house, Mariano has found that perfect balance yet again with 'Limitless'. Clocking in at eight magnificent minutes it's an expansive journey through warm grooves, fluid rhythms and exquisite melodies. Airy and playful in equal measure, the first act flows effortlessly, setting up the heavenly break. Timeless motifs and swirling atmospherics converge for an exhilarating crescendo, as the groove drops and you're carried closer to the heavens. A powerful yet elegant slice of progressive house from Mariano and perhaps one of his all time best. The first interpretation of 'Limitless' is provided by Erdi Irmak who returns to the label for his third appearance. The Turkish artist last appeared on the Greek imprint in September of 2016 with a remix of 'What We Need' by Ezequiel Arias. Now fresh off releases on Just Movement, Magician On Duty and Soundteller Records, Erdi returns to Dopamine with a pure progressive rendition of 'Limitless'. Smooth yet galloping, it's buoyant groove immediately brings a vibrant bounce to the stereo spectrum. Organic drums, choppy percussion and timely effects then fill in framework before the symphonic lead themes steal your heart. The second and final interpretation of 'Limitless' is provided by Paul Deep who is also making his third appearance on the label. Hailing from the progressive hotbed of Argentina Paul made his Dopamine debut in July of last year with the well received 'Consciousness State'. May of 2018 then saw The Argentine return to the label with a remix of 'Vision' by fellow countryman Nicolas Ruiz. Now following a strong EP for Twosounds Paul returns to Dopamine and closes the release out with a groovy take on 'Limitless'. On a bed of rolling bass comes crunchy electronics, wispy motifs and phasing vocals. Wonderfully open, the rhythmic hooks quickly grab a hold of you, leading to a one minute break which melts down to a gentle purr, before the pulsating groove drops for a magic moment. A smooth and exhilarating interpretation from Paul which rounds out a top shelf release from Nikko.Z's Dopamine Music once again.

Mariano Montori - Limitless (Erdi Irmak Remix)

The latest release from Antrim’s Or Two Strangers imprint welcomes Golan Zocher back to the label for his debut EP ‘Te Para Tres’. The Colombian born, Israel based artist made his debut on the Argentinean imprint in March of this year with a well received remix of ‘Epiphany in the Woods’ by Sebastian Sellares. Also laying claim to releases on Lonya’s Asymmetric Recordings and Guy Mantzur’s Plattenbank Records, Golan now returns to Or Two Strangers for his first EP alongside remixes from Berni Turletti and Sounom & Sagou.

Beginning with the title selection Golan shows just how boundless his studio repertoire can be. While some of the Colombian’s productions carry more of a  peak time flair, ‘Te’ finds that creative place between deep and progressive house. It’s well contoured low end carries a large presence while waves of percussion and a quirky lead theme advance the narrative. As momentum builds, smooth chord changes and a delicate arp play off each other for moments of emotional charm. Free flowing into the break, timely modulation adds drama and character before melting down to a stripped piano laced section that is sure to capture the heart of your dance floor. The companion piece ‘Para Tres’ ups the energy with a driving, free flowing narrative. A rolling low end sets the track in motion as buoyant themes and lively rhythmic concepts move through the framework. Rising atmospherics add depth and intrigue as drifting harmonics and a poignant melodic theme lead into the main break. Impassioned and hopeful, the one minute interlude sits as the emotional core of the piece, slowly saturating your senses before a timely drop resets the framework for a heartfelt finale.

The first interpretation of ‘Te’ is provided by Berni Turletti  who returns to the label following his ‘Surround Us With Love’ single from July of last year. Hailing from Cordoba, the Argentinean artist is fresh off a contribution to Nick Warren’s ‘The Soundgarden Miami Sampler’. Now presenting his first remix of 2019, Berni puts a dubbier twist on ‘Te’ with great results. Backed by a warm, full groove the Argentine’s detailed drum work and subtle harmonic shifts quickly appease the senses. Metallic designs add a flair for the dramatic while emotive chord changes and a tranquil storyboard set up the main break perfectly. The nearly two minute interlude is a feast for the senses, as it ebbs and flows through cinematic soundscapes before a flurry of drums sparks a euphoric build and exhilarating finale.

The second interpretation of ‘Te’ is provided by Sounom & Sagou who make their label debut here. The Dutch duo have found a home on Paul Hazendonk’s Manual label family having appeared on Cinematique, MNL and Manual Music. Now fresh off an EP for the UK’s Flemcy Music, Sounom & Sagou debut on Or Two Strangers with a heady interpretation of ‘Te’. Engaging from the outset, it’s warm, tightly knit framework is crafted to perfection with spacey effects and ethereal melodies converging for the ultimate sonic story. Fluid bass stabs carve out a free flowing groove while buzzing synths and haunting overlays lift the mood higher as the main break commences. Perfectly timed, the track’s centrepiece is dramatic and direct, dissipating to a gentle sonic sizzle as the groove drops for one final rush. A brilliant remix from Sounom & Sagou which rounds out another must have release from Antrim’s Or Two Strangers imprint.

"A Colombian artist with a rapidly growing reputation for producing high-quality underground progressive house, Kamilo Sanclemente continues to impress from his Cali home in the southwest of the country. A regular on the likes of Clubsonica Records, FSOE UV and Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital, some 200 production credits can be found against his name in a prolific period between 2017 and 2018. August 2017 marked a debut for Particles with the three-track "Revelations" EP, followed by "Eva" in May 2018. January 2019 marked a debut for Proton Music in the shape of the beautiful "Spiral Patters". Joined by sometime collaboration partner and fellow Colombian, Dabeat, the pair saw the track remixed by iconic Brazilian artist, Andre Sobota. Coming together on a clutch of blue-chip releases for the likes of Soundteller and BeatFreak Recordings, February 2019 marked a high-point for the duo with the release of "Your Smile is Priceless" on Mango Alley. Now returning to Proton Music, Kamilo Sanclemente and Dabeat have created a wonderful interpretation of "Purple Rain" that sits upon an intricate percussive framework. The central melodic theme of the original punctures the mid-range, intelligently effected to create a new cadence, while a glorious array of additional production material makes its presence felt through rippling arpeggio sequence and rich pads. The result is typically impressive result that illustrates why the duo's sound is proving so popular.

Another South American pairing of burgeoning reputation, the Brazilian duo of Demitros and Dante Pippi continue to "awaken evolving minds" with their unique blend of ticking percussive grooves and dynamic melodies. Both successful artists in their own rights, the pair have found their work allied to a selection of high-calibre imprints that include Balkan Connection, One Of A Kind and an outing on the successful Visceral compilation series. Moreover, a high-profile remix of Pole Folder in August 2018 paved the way for the four-track "When You Get There" EP which featured a reciprocal mix from the iconic Belgian DJ and producer. Gaining further traction at the end of 2018 with a remix for UK trio, Trilucid and Phil Martyn, it is an honour to welcome Demitros and Dante Pippi to Proton Music with their reworking of "Grey Rain". Immediately recognisable with its intelligent use of the bassline so central to Peter Makto and Gregory S' track, a pulsating percussive rhythm is joined by a raft of new melodic phrases and arpeggiated sequence. Evolving elegantly, the track hits its stride in the third movement with a dynamic combination of broken-beat rhythm and melody that is certain to find favour with club-goers across South America and beyond.

Remixes from Kamilo Sanclemente and Dabeat and Demitros and Dante Pippi have continued a torrent of creativity in Peter Makto and Gregory S' "Purple Rain".
