The 10th edition of Juicebox Radio is hosted by Utah (USA) based Donny Carr. Donny Carr made his first appearance in the scene through his remixes of Jerome Isma-Ae and Alastor's "Kubrick" and "Fiction" on Jerome's "Jee Productions" in early 2018. In between his slew of remixes on multiple labels, Donny Carr was announced as the winner of Beatport's "Beats in School" contest, under the mentorship of deadmau5's imprint "mau5trap", as well as being one of the finalists in Quivver's "8 Bit Eclipse" remix contest, that ended up as an official release on John Graham's "Controlled Substance". Donny also runs his own podcast called Dark Room Sessions as well as some very nifty production tutorials over on his YouTube channel, so do check it out. His remix of Eric Lune's "Snow Pony" marks his debut on Juicebox Music, as featured in his exclusive guest mix on Juicebox Radio.

Tangled Synthetic #037 and Saturo Sounds Radio was truly humbled to welcome India's top and most intriguing progressive house artists, with productions that stretch much further than the traditional scope of progressive house.

This 1-hour set rightly received an amazing reaction from listeners who tuned into the show on Mon 14 Sept.

Weird Sounding Dude is a Bangalore based music producer/DJ. He has always enjoyed a place in the underground dance music culture. His trademark chuggy grooves and squelchy rhythms are sure to satisfy his audience but there are always a few surprises along the way.

As it happens with a lot of artists, only DJ’ing wasn’t enough for his musical expedition, so he embarked on a journey to prove his worth as a self-taught producer. Drawing his influences by the likes of James Holden, Extrawelt, Nathan Flake, and Worakls. Being a regular on the charts of Beatport, his music has gained continuous support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Cid Inc., Nick Warren, Guy Mantzur, Guy J, Nick Muir, and many more.

He has already made a mark in the underground circuit with releases on The Soundgarden, Kindisch, Plattenbank, Perspectives Digital, onedotsixtwo, Juicebox Music, Eat My Hat Music, Balkan Connection, 3rd Avenue, Tarnished Tracks, If You Wait Music, Strangers Beats, Strange Town Recordings, Stripped Recordings among many others. Well-known blogs Progressive Astronaut, Change Underground, Underground Tel-Aviv, When We Dip, Nie Wieder Schlafen, Bespoke Music, Husa Sounds have shown regular interest in his tracks.

He has also made a mark on the DJ circuit by performing at music festivals like Sunburn, R.E.S.E.T., La Foresta (Sri Lanka), Ctrl Alt Dance, Krank, Locals District. 

He’s had the privilege to perform alongside the likes of Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger, Stan Kolev, Jimpster, Vaal, Dauwd, BOg, Ziger, Navar, Kastis Torrau. He was also nominated under the Techno category for MyFav Awards (2014-15).

It’s safe to say that this “Dude” in particular isn’t just another kid on the block. His voyage has slowly started to take shape with no intention of slowing down.
