5. Hospital Windows- our grandson was born in early 2024 in Berlin. We had an emotional visit to the hospital to meet him. As I was enjoying the celebration of meeting him I suddenly reflected on less joyous visits to hospitals with my close family, especially my mum, in recent years and wrote these lyrics on the plane home. My thoughts are with everyone going through those difficult times. In relation to the birth, I am a very excited grandpa! Mastered by RCD Audio.

Relief it all went well
Then sitting on the bed, 
Kissing his sweet head
Overcome with joy!

I remember her distress, having just received the news that she’d been fearing 
The obvious conclusion 
To the life she’d led
Sitting in the chair
Feeling such despair 
The worst of days
