in pulverem reverteris is a closer look at this moment when ashes meet sea foam. When water particles, air and ashes come together to become an entity. It is the  celebration of this union and the return of the inorganic matter to the sea. Together, they fly up in the sky and dive into the sea only to return ashore once again. A recurrent and perpetual trajectory, a delusion of immortality.
When looking at the see, at this undivided ambiance, the eye discovers meaningful details in the same way as the ear focuses on single events inherent in noise.

Music for the participative show “Arvorecer” (2021), presented by Teatro Experimental de Lagos, Portugal.

Synopsis
“Arvorecer” dismantles the boundaries between us and the trees, uniting us with the wise giants through a reunion of the collective and the environment.

Trees are sanctuaries. They don't teach doctrines or recipes. Indifferent to details, they teach the original law of life. We are all part of the same forest.

Práctica Somática

Spent is an exploration of deconstruction, abstraction, and assemblage of sounds to create a series of shifting spaces and contexts. Through the manipulation of a single sound source, I aimed to create a wealth of sound material with which I could piece together to create a new and evolving soundworld, with allusions to both real and abstract spaces and materials, free of all original context.

If I’m lucky my coffee tastes good. 

I’m stuck listening to music I don’t really like. 
Maybe it’s the melody that draws me in. 
Maybe I do like that music.  
Voices flow in. 
They flung the door open. 
I listen, sit and smoke. 
Make coffee and sink into the same chair. 
On the same cushion.  
My legs are restless. 
I look outside the windows towards the same park, searching for the right voice.  


If I’m lucky my coffee tastes good.

Μικροπράγματα 
 
Περιμένω να νυχτώσει για ν’ ανάψω το πρώτο τσιγάρο  
δεν μπορώ με τόσο ήλιο  
Πηγαινοερχόμουν στον διάδρομο και ήθελα να σου χτυπήσω την πόρτα 
Δούλευες πίσω απ’το τζάμι συνοφρυωμένος 
‘Ιδιος και απαράλλαχτος 
Κάθε μέρα σε θέλω όλο και πιο πολύ

Βραδινό ταγιέρ
 
Ψάχνω μια στιγμή,
δεν μπορώ να κλείσω τα μάτια
αν δεν τη βρω.
Σπαταλώ άπειρες ώρες
να τη φέρω πίσω.
Έρχονται στιγμές που τρέχει η ζωή μου
σε κάτι που έζησα κι έπρεπε να θυμάμαι.
Δεν βλέπω καθαρά το μέρος,  με νιώθω όμως εκεί.  
Ξέρω που είναι.
Σαν τη θεία Φανή που έβλεπε τη ζωή σαν βραδινό ταγιέρ
και πέρασε μια ζωή ψάχνοντας τη κατάλληλη στιγμή
να το ξαναφορέσει.
Μάταια προσπάθησαν να το εξηγήσουν στο Μάρκο.
Ίσως γνώριζε και να μην το ήξερε.
Ψάχνω τη στιγμή που έψαχνε η Μίρκα και ο Μάρκος.
Μια στιγμή που έρχεται σε κάτι που ‘ζησα
ή νόμιζα πως έχω ζήσει.
Το ταγιέρ της Φανής.
Το παρελθόν στην ιδανική του μορφή.
Το φέρε ένα τραγούδι που τυχαίνει να ακούω
 σε διαφορετικούς σταθμούς
και με έστειλε Σκωτία.
Βλέπω ακόμα τη φωτογραφία που θελα να τραβήξω
και δεν τράβηξα.
Ένα ζευγάρι, ήταν ακόμη φοιτητές, της κρατά το χέρι
και περπατούν δίπλα σ’ ένα μωβ τοίχο.
Μετά σταμάτησε αυτή η σκέψη και δεν με νιώθω πλέον εκεί.
Ξέρω μόνο ότι το μέρος είναι μέσα μου
και δεν μπορεί να φύγει.
Φοβάμαι να γυρίσω πίσω
μήπως αυτή η στιγμή
δεν υπάρχει.
Μια στιγμή που φαίνεται εύκολη
αλλά  φεύγει την ώρα που πάω
να καταλάβω κάτι.
Πρόσφατα κατάλαβα ότι και οι άνθρωποι γίνονται στιγμές.
Μερικές φορές νομίζω ότι τους έχω ζήσει.
Το πρόσωπο τους γίνεται παρόν, παρελθόν και μέλλον.
Οι ίδιοι είναι παλιοί γιατί έχουν σταματήσει να υπάρχουν.
Δεν ακούνε πλέον στον χρόνο
‘Έγιναν το νόημα.
Ο χρόνος πλέον ακούει σε αυτούς.
 
 
Σ’αυτόν που κανονικά θα έπρεπε να ήτανε στους Πτυχιούχους.

Γράφω τώρα που ακούω τη φωνή σου
 
Κάθε φορά λέω στον εαυτό μου
Πως θα είναι η τελευταία.
Περνάω έξω απ την πόρτα
και κοιτώ το σακάκι σου που ναι στην καρέκλα.
Όταν δεν είναι εκεί ξέρω ότι έχεις φύγει
Είδα πάνω σου άλλους κόσμους.
Δεν έκανες τίποτα
και αυτά είναι που δεν φεύγουν.
Ίσως με τον καιρό ξεχνιούνται.
Έμαθα να αγαπώ ό,τι έχεις,
το θερμός σου, το ποτήρι στο γραφείο σου,
Τα άσχημα σου γράμματα,
μια φωνή που μ’εκνευρίζει,
Το σφράγισμα στο δόντι σου,
το σκληρό σαγόνι σου
και τα χέρια σου  που δεν μ αρέσαν.
Κάθε φορά είναι η τελευταία έλεγα
και κάθε τελευταία είναι η πρώτη.

Love etc. 

Your face was halfway lit - a big crease spreading on your cheek. The rest of you was pushed into the shadows. You could have been a child. Your hands looked small and bony. Your knuckles sharp. Went to touch you but I stopped. My seat was a breath away. I crouched. Kept listening to what you said. Went to touch you again but drew a cigarette. When you were done, I forced my cheek next to yours. Tentatively. You didn’t move. It was past eleven. I should go.
