BRAVER has been kicking in doors to Copenhagen clubs for over 2 decades now with his confrontational style of house, techno and breaks. He revels in the unpredictable choices inside the predictable tropes of dance music. Just as you think you know who BRAVER is he pulls the carpet right out from under your dancing feet. This reputation has earned him a chronic staying power on the Danish electronic scene and is on full display on the releases on his label BRAVE TRAX.

Sample based challenge for electronic music producers.

Rules: 

An 8-sample pack is released by one producer.

In each round contestants make a track based on 8 samples only.

Maximum length 3:20 minutes.

Tracks are uploaded anonymously on SoundCloud and producers receive feedback from the other contestants.

The top 3 tracks of the round are revealed.

Goals:

To make something out of this lockdown and keep the electronic music community together • To explore how we can get creative with strict limitations applied in our production process • To discover the spectrum of musical expression that can emerge from a single pack of sounds • To create a platform where new producers can release their music and collect valuable feedback • To help artists with similar styles and interests discover each other and cooperate
