vedawave is a dark, genre-defying music project from Birmingham, UK based songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Dominic Sepulveda. 

Fusing the dark sounds of goth, industrial, nu-metal and emo music, vedawave creates a brooding sonic world that delves into themes of introspection, gothic romance and dark fantasy.

2016-2018

Mantra are a midlands based indie band with hints of surf and psychedelic rock with a DIY approach. Combining spacey guitars, energetic drums and heavy fuzz to create an engaging live performance.

Formed in Nottingham; February 2017, Brown Lion Zoo have been widely tipped for a mammoth 12 months ahead of their recent EP launch "Where's My Sandwich?". These 4 university students met at the heart of the alternative music societies and propelled their mutual love for creating music with an inevitably minimal student budget. Having only recently entering the indie/alternative scene they have already had shows at the legendary Bodega and JT Soar. Also playing the most DIY of shows up and down the midlands in recent months. 

Early demos were recorded in the midst of their own uni halls and numerous spaces around Nottingham. Despite the claustrophobic nature of these rooms they always manage to preserve their larger than life sound with their most successful grass root track "In The Dark". Mixing raw emotion with thundering and eerie guitar riffs. Alongside their up beat set starter "Electric Bed" with a crushing tempo that gets bodies moving.

"Where's My Sandwich?" was recorded at JT Soar, the widely known DIY space in the Nottingham scene. Producer Phil Booth homed on the guys energetic sound while also helping to pull out their softer side in the track "While I'm At It". Brown Lion Zoo are always willing to share it's story over a pint, maybe even two.

Hailing from Hartlepool UK, Leopard Rays consist of Luke Dawkins (vocals), Sean McCloskey (guitar), Tom Pattison (bass) and David Wilcox (drums). To date the band have graced stages at Stockton Calling, and played the inaugural Heelapolooza and Gathering Sounds Festivals. 

They have also been playlisted on The Hot List by BBC Music Introducing and supported the likes of Pulled Apart By Horses and Estrons and played their own dates in Manchester, London and Newcastle plus sold out shows at Idols and The Studio in their hometown as they continue to grow both musically and in support. Layers of dreamy guitars, lush reverb drenched vocals mixing a pop mentality with a penchant for a crunching riff when the mood takes them. McCloskey is originally from Chicago and brings a traditional American pancake to an otherwise full-English breakfast.

The alt.rock four-piece take their influences from the likes of Pearl Jam, Oasis and Ride for fans of other local luminaries such as Plaza and The Yada Yada Yadas. Most recent single ‘Daydream’ is four minutes of infectious riffs and twisting melodies while fan favourites ‘Moon’ and ‘I’m Japan’ reflect a more mellifluous and all-out rock direction respectively.
