During the first lockdown in 2020, I began learning a number of string figures to pass the time. My next release of music is a reflection of that strange period of uncertainty and the string figures I learned. ‘Opening A’ is the lead track from my next EP ‘String Figures’, and I am delighted it will be released on Friday 21st May with Piano and Coffee Records!

Opening A is named after the opening move of a lot of the string figures that I learned. Most of them started in the same way.

'Small Music Huge People' is a collaboration track of Lights Dim and Grzegorz Bojanek - two experimental/electronic musicians from Poland.

The track will featured on the 2nd part of the "Earthtones" which is scheduled for release by Tessellate Recordings later this year.

Your words echoed in my skull until they bore;

Into my mind; yet mine do not reach yours any more,





Your sight forever a frozen image in my mind;

Yet mine; remains not even a memory you can find,





Your love a tattoo etched into my skin;

And mine; to be found nowhere to begin,





Your soul on its journey to atonement;

And mine; left abandoned with adjournment,





You were to walk with me without intercept;

Yet the sand; imprinted only with one pair of footstep,





Years pass by and I walk alone still;

In shadows with a silent will,





As words dry on your tombstone;

I watch silently of all promises forgone,





Of all dreams that could never realise;

Of a future that could never materialise,





I watched your soul turn into a light harness;

Whilst I entered the realm of eternal darkness.
