Jones (1997) is a Utrecht (NL) based house DJ & Producer. He started producing when he was 13 and what started as a parttime hobby turned into a true full time passion. 

When he started visiting house and techno parties he became obsessed with the music and that’s what started his love for house music. because of being a fan of all different styles of music his whole life. Jones gets his influence from 70’s & 80’s disco all the way up to 90’s hip-hop and also some early house. 

You can recognize his sound as being energetic sample based house with a touch of funk & old school elements.

Working on many music projects as well as on his own, John Belk appeared on some of the most respected labels such as Bedrock, Get Physical, Knee Deep in Sound. 
In 2014. he gets worldwide attention with his remix for Hot Since 82's "Like You", which peaks at 50th place on Beatport's Top100 list. Later on, his tune "Silver Surfer" was released on Knee Deep In Sound Miami Sampler in 2015, alongside artists such as Cuartero, Montel, Brian Cid and many more. It was re-released on John Digweed's Bedrock Music both vinyl and digital. As a part of "DJ Set With Alfa" by Alfa Romeo summer campaign, John Belk won the competition. He was twice in a row one of the 5 Serbian finalists of the Burn Residency Competition. His DJ residency in Belgrade's hot spot The Tube lead him to perform at EXIT Festival, Love Fest, MAD in Belgrade, playing alongside Maceo Plex, Richie Hawtin, Hot Since 82, Miguel Campbell, Oxia, Sharam, Luigi Madonna, Valentino Kanzyani and many moreÃÂ¢ÃÂÃÂ¦
Born in Belgrade, middle class music lovers family, Belk will quickly combine a passion for the music with an immoderate taste for computers, later music machines. It was 1997. Although he started Dj-ing by the begging of the year 2002, his main focus was Dance Production, frequently flirting with jazz and etno elements, a fusion of punk, rave, jazz, minimal, classic house and swinging 60s soundtracks fueled by the a passionate love for found sounds and eccentric experimentation in music.
