Releasing my debut album has been one of my most meaningful life-experiences, and apart from the times playing my livesets, I seem to never have found a right moment to share it personally with the world. Today it has been exactly one year since the release-date, so this should be a good moment.

Barcelona to Brooklyn via UK: following two very special releases from Beartrax, for their third release (and second of 2020) hot new NYC label Melodize welcome one of Spain’s most consistent electronic ambassadors, Factor City co-boss Undo, and Cin Cin bossman Fort Romeau for remix duties.   

Hot on the heels of his stunning ‘Dark Woods’ EP earlier this summer, Undo comes packing some stunning electronic tackle. Sitting somewhere between Border Community and Underworld, both cuts are lavishly layered as myriad synths bubble and ripple away in their own little co-existing worlds.

Baggy, charming and just nicely off-grid, both sides of the coin can be flipped; those looking for a darker jam will be all over ‘Sixty Days’, a powerful cut where the basses melt into swaggering loose kicks. Need things even darker? Then jump on Fort Romeau’s remix where the kicks are cemented into place with a stark acidic twist.

Meanwhile those of us hungrier for more of a cosmic head trip will find serious pots of gold at the end of the rainbow that is ‘Just One Day’. A twinkling, shimmering odyssey, tracks like these don’t come round all that often. Melodize realise total bliss once again.

@elmosquetero nos ha dedicado nuestra cuarta publicación con una sesión que comienza con ritmos eclécticos, downtempo, hasta ritmos más club con rasgos de Indie Dance, rock y disco. Con producciones de Youkounkoun, Leonor, Mr BC, Arabian Panther, Mijo, Theus Mago o Iñigo Vontier, entre otros.  

"Traté de seguir un hilo conductor de principio a fin sin ser monótono. Mi objetivo era jugar con los contrastes: alternar lo dulce con lo mas duro. Podría decir que este set es ecléctico, mitad espontáneo y preparado que trata de borrar las barreras, y fronteras, esquemas pre establecidos o definidos." 

Diego Mouchet es un DJ, guitarrista y cantante, franco-boliviano amante de todo tipo de música electrónica. Vivió en La Paz, Toulouse, México D.F, Buenos Aires y Lyon antes de llegar Paris. Forma parte del sello alemán HEARec, como Director Artístico, y ha estado organizando y tocando en eventos de Francia y Bélgica durante todo 2019 y principios de 2020. Ahí sacó su primera canción ‘El Condor’ junto al compilado VA HEARec Vol.4. 
Paralelamente se ocupa del booking de: Sex Kino, Leonor y Victoria.52.

@elmosquetero has dedicated our fourth release to us with a session that starts with eclectic rhythms, downtempo, and goes up to club beats of Indie Dance, rock and disco. This super mix comes with productions by Youkounkoun, Leonor, Mr BC, Arabian Panther, Mijo, Theus Mago or Iñigo Vontier, among others.  

"I tried to follow a common thread from beginning to end without being monotonous. My aim was to play with contrasts: to alternate the sweet with the harder. I could say that this set is eclectic, half spontaneous and half prepared, trying to erase barriers, and borders, pre-established or defined schemes". 

Diego Mouchet is a French-Bolivian DJ, guitarist and singer, lover of all kinds of electronic music. He has lived in La Paz, Toulouse, Mexico City, Buenos Aires and Lyon before arriving in Paris. He is part of the German label HEARec, as Artistic Director, and has been organizing and playing at events in France and Belgium throughout 2019 and early 2020. He also released his first song 'El Condor' on the compilation VA HEARec Vol.4. 
At the same time he is in charge of the booking of: Sex Kino, Leonor and Victoria.52.
