This is a three-minute audio reflection on the quiet magic of an old neighborhood cinema. Blending ambient sounds, personal narration, and interview excerpts from a longtime ticket seller, the piece invites listeners to pause and absorb the textures of memory, routine, and emotion that linger in the theatre’s dim corners and flickering lights.

Through interviewing, creating and recording audio, as well as sourcing sounds from freesounds.com, I created a 3 minute audio documentary on my cousin's experience growing up in a more conservative family that treated her differently based on her gender.

Occasionally, when I'm not listening to podcasts I like to just listen to some of the sounds around me. People on the bus are happy to chat to each other, they'll tell you their tales. I like it when there's happiness. This was recorded around the time of the Tree of Life shooting and it seemed like people dropped their hard exterior for just a moment and seemed to give each other some support, coming together at this terrible moment. Here's a short snippet I captured.
