This one is a melodic future style joint with some luscious tipper style bass drops. I heard Perkulat0r drop an earlier version of this tune at Envision Festival in Costa Rica earlier this year and it blew my mind. I was like I need that tune, hes said it wasnt finished yet you wanna finish it up and I jumped on the opurtunity. It is also a Collab with the homie "Of The Trees" from Portland. I instantly thought this tune would be a perfect ending to the album, so I put it last although it prolly deserves to be higher up in the tracklisting haha

Roman Flügel may be one of techno’s most prolific stars. The Frankfurt artist’s remix of Dark Sky’s ‘The Walker’ is his 10th remix in six months. But this makes it no less of an occasion.

Flügel’s take on ‘The Walker’ channels the loose melancholy of the original but injects it with a bubbling euphoria that threatens to erupt, but never quite does. Over the track’s seven minutes, ethereal voices climb over one another whilst synths gurgle in the background.

The track is a masterclass in managing dance floor tension and has been a staple of his sets of late.

‘The Walker’ is taken from the London-based duo’s new ‘Othona’ album, their second album released via Modeselektor’s Monkeytown Records.

Tracks by this anonymous project, named after the American porn star, have been posted and published all over russian social nerworks by thousands of fans at the speed of light. Fans and journalists call him ''the lord of witch house", although the producer himself prefers his own genre definition: weedwave. I immediately started working on a remix that conveyed some of the emotion I felt when I first heard the original. Deep and heavy, while bright and beautiful. The Clipping Paths series compiled by Dov1 continues with a version themed on all things influenced by Dub / Reggae / Island Vibes. The roster featured are some familiar Muti Music artists , along with some fresh faces for the future. The compilation kicks off in the 85BPM range and as the compilation progresses, moves it’s way down to deeper 70BPM Dubstep and softer vibes. We hope you feel a little bit of the dub, a little bit of the skank and bounce and then a good amount of soft and heady chill vibes.

The original Clipping Paths compilation in 2007 set a tone for many emerging sounds from Muti Music and featured ‘then’ new artists Ooah, Vibesquad, Audiovoid, Nanda, Timonkey, Slidecamp and Muti regulars like An-ten-nae and Dov1, needless to say it has been quoted by many as an influence and has proven to help define new sounds that have blown up in the years that followed.
